Canaan Sushi

That was one of the worst sushi experiences I have had in NYC. My order from Canaan Sushi was not only poorly presented on delivery, but the sushi itself was not tasteful or enjoyable. I suggest you remove them from the restaurants your lists. Not sure if refunds are permitted, but one is certainly deserved.

I ordered 2 canaan sushi rolls for lunch, that came with a side salad. The sushi was bland, small portions, and the choice of "salad" was 6 slices of oranges. I won't be ordering again.

I received delivery from Canaan Sushi today and the overall presentation was messy and the tuna quality was questionable so I didn't eat those rolls. In addition, the delivery time was 90 minutes. I politely called to let them know my experience since I believe all restaurants can be hit or miss sometimes, but they just offered me an extra miso soup next time. There are better sushi options in the city so I would recommend trying others.

Ordered Udon noodles and sushi. The udon was alright but the sushi was disgusting! Very sloppy in presentation and the fish was DEFINITELY NOT fresh. My first and last time ordering sushi here.

I have ordered from here a number of times now - they generally deliver within their estimated time (the latest being 10 minutes past their estimate and the fastest being at exactly the low end of their estimate) - the sushi has always been fresh and tasty and the Miso soup has been great. Definitely recommend the Mango, Avocado, Tuna Roll.

i had the 2 roll, 2 piece lunch special and it blew me away! the tuna mango & avocado roll, and spicy tuna roll were both excellent. fresh, delicious, well made. then i had the tuna belly blue fin sushi and salmon sushi, both so good, i could have eaten 10 more pieces! and the salad, while it was a standard lettuce salad, was still excellent with the dressing and couple other vegetables. i will order here again.

This was my go to for awhile for lunch and this time it was like someone shed in my meal. It was disgusting. I found 3 different hairs on the sushi and ginger. NEVER EVER ordering here again. Consider yourself warned.

I order from here every time I want sushi. They have great prices and fun rolls that aren't all tempura, which is difficult to find. Every person I've shown this restaurant to loves it!

Ordered sushi at 12:45, was given a wait time of 20-45 minutes. Called after 50 minutes, was told it was almost here. Called after 70 minutes, and was told it was almost here, and that I should call back to confirm that it had come when it did and they would try to find a way to compensate me. Food came at 92 minutes. I called as they told me to and was referred to a manager. My compensation: getting to argue with the manager about whether 12:45 to 2:15 was half an hour (his contention) or an hour an a half. Food was only decent. Won't be ordering from here again. And Seamless should consider changing the way it estimates (or allows restaurants to estimate) delivery times.

I have never been more upset eating sushi in my life!!! When my order arrived the miso soup had spilled in the bag and my sushi was very soggy due to the soup spilling in the sushi tray as well. I will never order from here again...and to think I added a $2 tip ($3 tip in total) on top of the tip I gave at the time of purchase for an $11 order. NEVER AGAIN...be careful when ordering from this place!!!!!! What a waste of my money...........
