delicious egg rolls (cha gio) and the pork over vermicelli is good too. Delivery was quick and prices are ok (you can do better in chinatown). I only question the pork because of the color; looks more like beef. who knows!

We ordered the chili pepper lemongrass and grilled chicken vermicelli noodle. The steamed rice was too soggy/sticky, and the chicken was of very poor quality. The vermicelli noodles contained no flavoring, likely missing fish sauce. Also, the spring roll was cold, came with no sauce, and looked like a dong. No complaints on delivery or price, but this is undoubtedly the worst Vietnamese we've ever had.

Meh. Someone told me this place was supposed to be good, but if it is, it's not because of the bun or pork chops. My noodles were ice cold and obviously not fresh. Pork chops were just, off. Fatty, and a weird gamey flavor to them. The Summer rolls were quite nice, very fresh, but only 2 to an order and sparse ingredients for $6?? No thanks. Delivery was very fast, 20 minutes, but I do live one block away. I'm going to ask my friend what is supposed to be good here, and may or may not try it again. Probably not, actually.

I ordered the noodle soup and it was very good, I don't usually finish the soup from other restaurants, but when I order from Chapas it's different, I just can't help myself!

So far the best noodle soup I've had in NYC. Excellent and prompt delivery service. I will definitely order again soon.

This is hands-down the worst restaurant I have ever ordered from on SeamlessWeb. The "broken rice" was plain steamed white rice that was cooked with way more liquid than necessary. The chicken skewers were completely pink inside and inedible. The grilled chicken vermicelli lunch special might be the worst of all. First of all, I am 99% sure that I was given unseasoned "pork" (as in what I recall being the by-product that McRib sandwiches are made from), as it certainly was not chicken. Whatever it was, it was also inedible. I opted for the spring roll with the lunch special and it appeared to have been dipped in a vat of cold oil for 50 seconds, removed and then thrown into a wax paper bag. It was filled with some sort of meat and, again, was not even remotely edible. I wish that we could upload photographs on the review page, as photos would go a lot further than a random stranger's rants. I have been attempting to reach the restaurant for a refund, but no one will answer the phone. BEWARE to avoid Cha Pa's. It is absolutely disgusting and I just threw $15.00 down the drain. Literally.

Wow, when I ordered the lotus salad and selected the option to make it an entree size, silly me actually expected more of the lotus root. Instead, it was just the regular portion that sat on a huge bed of lettuce. If I had known, I would have just walked to the grocery store, purchased some little gems lettuce, and made my own salad for half the price. What a waste of money.

The Thai shrimp salad was just coleslaw mix with 4 shrimp. Just skip it if your were thinking of ordering it.

Great food but you no longer give the choice for tipping for delivery. Too much! Won't order again.

I ordered the chicken vermicelli for lunch today and I feel obligated to leave a review saying that it was absolutely inedible.

not authentic and horrible. Ordered the veggie clay pot- got some bok choy and mushrooms in some gooey sauce with white rice. waste of 15 bucks. Beware of the positive reviews, their origin is questionable to me.

The only vietnamese resturant I found in Hell's Kitchen that is authenic. The pho was very homey, just like the pho I had back in saigon, excellent. The shaken steak very tender and tasty, yummy! Would definitely order from them again.
