Checkers (Chambers Street)

Ordered food over hour and a half ago, still waiting. Nowhere close to the timeframe advertised. Hoping that (if) by the time it gets here, it will still be edible; I can not eat cold fast food. DO NOT order if you are hungry, you will be severely disappointed. As a business, I find it very inconsiderate of them to be so careless with their timeframe- according to other reviews this has been a complaint for the past 2 years, why Checkers has not addressed this is incredibly unprofessional. I find it very rude to customers not to follow through with what is posted, it's wrong and misleading that it hasn't been changed to a more realistic timeframe. I would have ordered elsewhere, and suggest you do the same.

The wait wasn't too long. My main complaint: I ordered three burger combos... Got the three burgers, the three fries, but TWO sodas! Gotta say it was awkward silently deciding the person who didn't get a soda. RUH-ROH CHECKERS!!!

food is always--especially the fries, but so many problems with the order. i had them deliver and the guy left before i caught the problems. I ordered a diet sprite and they gave me a diet coke. I ordered my chicken sandwich with "NO MAYO!!" and they put mayo on, anyway. They didn't give me ketchup for the fries (i don't have any in my apartment) and no straw for my chocolate shake--I had to eat it with a spoon. Also, the shake wasn't blended well and it ended up being more of a vanilla shake than chocolate. Hopefully Checkers was having a bad night...

Okay, I love the food here, but the service is so rude. One delivery guy complained about our tip (even though it was over 15%) because it was on credit card. Another time a deliver person forgot our drink and tried to offer us one from someone else's order. We were fine without it, we just wanted to let Checker's know they got our order wrong and to credit us -- one hour later the guy comes back and tosses us our drink with attitude. Did I mention we gave this guy a cash tip (again, over 15%) because the first guy yelled at us about it? I don't want to order anymore because I don't want to get yelled at when I'm just trying to get an order filled properly. I guess I'll just go when I'm in the neighborhood.

I waited over an hour for our food, then once we received, everything was ice cold. So i called Checkers and the girl that answered [Anna] says to me "so what do you want me to do for you?] and then hung up on me. Not worth 1 star!!

do not believe in 30-45 minute delivery window. it took 85 minutes for them to deliver.

The worst delivery service I have ever encountered. After an hour an 15 minutes I had to call the restaurant to be informed that the delivery person wasn't there. Why do you confirm order if you don't have a person to deliver. Very rude and unprepared people on the phone as well.

I live beside Harry's, so it is just easy make an order and receive the foot in 15/20 minutes in my front door. I do like the food so far, no problems at all. I do recommend Harry's in your next choice.

I ordered at 12:45pm and got confirmation that I would receive my food in 30-45 minutes. It's now 2:15pm and the food still hasn't arrived. When I called the number listed, it was busy for the past 30 minutes and now after FINALLY getting through, they said "sorry we're really busy". So if you are hungry and don't have 2 hours to wait, I would look elsewhere. What a joke...fast food my a$$!

Delivery was fast and food was delivered hot. The burgers are very good for the price, definitely better than big chains like McDonald's and Burger King. The meat tastes fresher and has the seared flavor. The fries are absolutely yummy and the batter and seasoning remind me of Popeyes' cajun fries. I like the fries plain, without the cheese, bacon, or chili. I've ordered the fully loaded fries and it's too much and too salty. Garlic parmesan wings were also too salty. I understand that some people like "big flavor" but the above is just my opinion.

My order arrived cold and incomplete. Called and was told that the delivery guy will be sent out as soon as he returns to the restaurant. Called back about an hour later and was assured that rest of my order would arrive any minute. It's now about two & 1/2 hours since I placed my initial order and I still do not have my missing items.
