Chef Yu

They forgot the spoon and chopsticks for soup one day - I complained to the delivery man who then gave me an attitude. What am I supposed to do... lick all that soup out of the container and suck down all those piping hot noodles deep into my throat? I'd rather lick and suck on my own apartment's carpeting than slurp down Chef Yu's garbage. NEVER ORDERING AGAIN!

I used to love this restaurant. I ordered General Tzo's Chicken, all white meat for an additional dollar- not a problem. What I received was thin, and I mean skin thin, strips of chicken in a soupy mess. These "strips" did not even taste like there was any meat, it was all batter. And for the extra dollar it appears they cut back on your portion. Don't know if I'll be going back to Chef Yu.

Chef Yu has some great Chinese food, and they delivery faster than any place I've order. Their Stir-Fried Chicken with Spicy Capsicum is my favorite, best I've had in NYC so far.

Ordered from them, they have a $5 minimum, so I got something simple... the tip auto'd out as a $1 so I didn't think anything of it.. I am on 27th and 5th... they are on 34th and 8th... the DELIVERY guy arrives and then screams at me for more tip because he had to take a $20 cab to deliver the food???? Chef Yu if you can't deliver the food on foot, then lower your delivery range... I will never order from these guys again...

Chef Yu offers the fastest delivery of any restaurant I've ever ordered from. But the food arrives hot and delicious, especially the fried dumplings. Everything I've ordered has been good, though it definitely adheres to the reputation of Chinese food being greasy.

Am truly no fan of Chinese cuisine, but the Chef Yu meal sliced chicken with asparagus and their scallion pancakes had been a very pleasant suprise.

Food is great and reasonable but the delivery guys are very nasty and impolite. They expect we stand there and wait for them. Otherwise they would yell @ you and said something we couldn't understand, of course... what you expect in their black face?! Shame on you!

Unbelievable experience - first of a kind from someone who orders from Seamless multiple times a week. The delivery time was 15-30 minutes, we called 40 minutes after ordering and were told that the delivery person was on his way. 20 minutes later we called again and were yelled at by the lady who answered the phone. She said that it's not her fault that her "worker " isn't there, we should call Seamless and cancel, she can't reach him, etc. etc. etc. Unbelievable service, and an hour later we were left with the burden of calling Seamless ourselves and without food. Of course she would not give us her name. Really unbelievable situation that's made worse by Seamless not taking any sort of responsibility for the restaurants on their website but telling me to make a review if I Want.

The delivery was fast! The spicy soup was very hot and tasty. The mango chicken was flavorful. The pork fried rice however was not tasty, oily and fatty.
