Chickpea

We ordered in from Chickpea two nights ago and my husband had an awful case of food poisoning. Order at your own risk.

I ordered two seltzer waters. Somehow a coke showed up under the falafel line item as part of the vegetable sides. They called to tell me they had no seltzer and there were three drinks. They charged me for all three even though they didnt have what I ordered and knew that 3rd was a mistake, sending me cokes instead. Not cool!!!

couldn't deliver food for upwards of 2 hours and didn't have all the food they had on the menu. I will never order from here again.

Ordered the shwarma/falafel combo chopped salad with extra mushroom/almond falafel on the side. The salad is fresh and delicious, exactly what I wanted. It doesn't even need dressing (I got it on the side and didn't use it). My only complaint is that I ordered avocado and roasted eggplant toppings as extra and although the avocado was chopped into the salad, the eggplant was not, so there are very very large pieces of roast eggplant in an otherwise chopped salad. I received a whole wheat pita instead of a white pita, but I'm ok with that. Its rustic (thick) and soft. The extra side falafels, though, are soggy and not fresh tasting nor crispy. I'll probably try to invigorate them in my toaster oven later, but they are not worth eating as they came. I'd order this salad again in a heartbeat, but will not get any falafel from here again.

Delivery time is unreliable. Cancelled order an hour and a half after ordering (even though I was given 30-45 mins approximate time) and being repeatedly told food was "just around the corner."

great kosher falafal and chichen kebab sandwhiches, this is a staple for us, we order at least once a week. lentil soup is excellent too.

Definitely a lot of food for the money, which was great. However, what they don't tell you is that even the regular falafel is spicy, so if you don't like spice at all you may not be a fan. However, lovers of moderate spice will be very pleased!
