China Gourmet

ordered over 1 1/2 hours ago and still no delivery. called China Gourmet on two separate occasions and each time they told me the order was out for delivery. that was 30 min. ago. still waiting. there are many other chinese restaurants that offer better service so you would be better served looking elsewhere

My egg rolls were burned on the outside, cold on the inside. Instead of immediately replacing them, they offered to send the rolls with my next order. Everyone has an off day, but EVERY time I order from here the food is messed up or my drink is missing. If you dare call them to complain about not receiving a $1 coke be prepared to be treated as if you're trying to steal. I will never order from China Gourmet again.

I have had great luck with China Gourmet. They're always fairly quick (on time) and you get what you pay for. The food isn't amazing, but I'm not ordering from here expecting legitimate "gourmet" food. Portions are large. The steamed pork dumplings are huge and less than $5.

Do not ever order from China Gourmet. Last night I ordered the General Tso's Chicken with Pork Fried Rice and Steamed Pork Dumplings and got food poisoning. Last night was one of the worst nights of my life because of this place. Never order from here.

China Gourmet is a go-to for lunch orders at my office. Delivery is always quick and the food is great. Surprisingly light for Chinese food.

is this always the best customer service and gourmet food? of course not. but for the price, and the huge, generous portions (both lunch specials and entrees), i highly recommend the place. regarding the delivery time: i actually have never had a deliver over 20 minutes from this place.. so I suspect the people that said so must live very far away. also, they never got my order wrong a single time and I have ordered for myself, friends, and coworkers (read: very large order)...never got a mistake, ever.

Do not order from here. Its been over one hour and half and i still have not recieved my food. I called the woman and she was not clear with what had happened. This is the worst food service i had ever recieved. STAY AWAY from this awful food establishment (if you want to even call it a food establishment). I recommend orderin food from somewhere else.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if you are interested in good food, timely delivery and at least fair customer service. Ordered from here and after an hour called to check up on the order. The lady who answered was very nonchalant and told me that if it was too long, I could cancel the order and that she could not even check up on where it could possibly be so late after the promised delivery time.

2 hours later and no food! Was told by person on phone that the delivery guy brought the food back! I was not called or notified and am sure he didn't ring my bell. She was unable to say why the food was not delivered. She was very rude and when I asked he how long it would be she said she didn't know! Not even a ballpark figure could be give ! Never order from this place!

Really fantastic food. I expected this to be just another mediocre late night Chinese-American place; boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Snappy delivery, nice and hot. The General Tso's chicken was spicy, flavorful, & incredibly tender. Cannot recommend enough.

After being quoted a delivery time of 30-40 minutes, I called to check on my order. I was told the delivery was en route. After another 20 minutes, I called back and was told the delivery person had called me, but was unable to get in touch with me so he left. Mind you I had been salivating by my phone the entire time and it never rang once. I was then told the order was now "on it's way". After another 20 minutes with no food, I called back and the delivery person was unable to be reached. I ended up having to walk to the restaurant to get my food. I was given two free cans of diet coke for my trouble. Never again.

You have THE nastiest food delivery person. Food is not bad for the price. avoid their bbq ribs (looked and tasted like it was cooked days ago drowned in lots of bbq as a cover) and their shrimp rolls (soggy and not fresh made; it was disgusting). delivery guy has nasty phone manners. Get new guy before you lose business because of him.
