China Sun (Formerly Dong Hai Grille)

I have ordered from Dong Hai Grille three times - the first i have to say it was delicious, and enjoyable. The second time we ordered from them (always pretty much order the same things with little change) they had no Sushi ( i thought wow what an honest approach not serving Sushi below there standards but when we got the order both our Fried rice, and chicken orders both had a heavy fish smell and taste to them so we just tossed them. A few nights ago we decided that this may be a fluke and ordered once more - again the Chicken Thai Fried rice had a heavy fish smell and taste to it and we both had stomach issues the next day. They are very friendly on the phone and on delivery, but i think this will be the last time i order from them.

I chose this place because they gave me an ETA of 20-40 min and they are right down the street from my office, so I assumed it would be on the shorter side of that timeframe and I was in a rush. It took almost an HOUR to get to me. Much longer than the longest ETA. And then the delivery person asked me to pay for it. Uhhh I already did through SEAMLESS duh. The receipt was stapled right to the bag. He still didn't understand, but at least he just left. The food was not worth the wait either.

Sorry, I did not like the change in Duck used. This had a bbq taste, was quite tough. Call to ask before you order the duck. Before the duck had a juicy, tender, flavorful taste. Cabbage was quite tasty, I like their cabbage with brown rice.

Food is just OK but their delivery time takes twice than advertised. Ive almost always waited over an hour. Beware! Place your order well before you're hungry!

This restaurant quite simply has the best Chinese broccolli I have ever consumed--sauteed with slices of garlic, it is fresh, healthy and delicious. The crystal shrimp dumplings are savory, with a pleasing texture and faint nutty notes of sesame. Sauteed wontons in hot oil deliver a delicious combination of savory peanut sauce with a great kick, but the wontons themselves still shine through--with a delicious flavor and the crunch of water chestnut. Their noodles and rice dishes have been consistently good. Delivery service is prompt and friendly.

Highly recommend it. Not sure why they have only 3 stars but you should be your own judge. They've got an extensive menu and even though a lot of restaurants that try to combine Chinese/Japanese/Thai aren't that good in any of those categories, this restaurant is. The Chinese food is VERY authentic but it also caters to the "unauthentic" crowd and they actually do a great job in terms of variety and flavoring. Delivery is fast! We order from Park Ave all the time but they come in under 30 minutes. Staff is friendly. And best of all they give you a lot of food, tastes good, and you don't have to go over your limit to be well fed!

This doesn't even deserve 1 star. The food took forever to get here. Then when I opened the bag the smell that enveloped my office was gut wrenching. We had to open a window and it's still not gone. I had to throw 2 of the dishes away (honey wings, steamed mini pork buns) because of the putrid smell they let off. The scallion pancakes were well done and I could hardly bite into them. They tasted like they were fried in old oil and the soy dipping sauce had a funny smell and sour taste. I couldn't finish my food (if that's even what it was) and I am nauseous. DON"T ORDER FROM HERE!!!

1st time - A leaving-do lunch for a colleague. Her first time ever trying roast duck over rice, scallion pancakes, & shumai. Delivery was fast and food tasted authentic. Presentation is good. Recommend food and service. 2nd time- They forgot 1 item on my order. It was quickly rushed to me.

Good food, delivered HOT and within the time frame specified. The General Tso's chicken is very good. The ease of ordering, combined with the price and the quality of the food make for a nice lunch treat!
