Christie's

I was hesitant to order from Christies ; not because of the food reviews but because of the delivery reviews. The food has always been off the chain!! But i took a chance and the deliver service was great!! My order included a slice of cake which they ran out and i immediately received a called once the order was accepted advising me that they were out. They recommended an alternative order and i was just as happy!!!

I've ordered twice from Christie's and both times my food arrived with items missing from my order. I will not be ordering from them again.

Christie's has Jamaican comfort food at its finest! They've been around for over 40 years, and my family has been eating Christie's food practically since they came to NY from Jamaica! Their patties are #1 (the brother of the owner of Tower Isle's opened up Christie's), the Jerk Chicken and Oxtail are superb! Anyone who gives this place a bad review either doesn't know their Jamaican food, or is letting the DELIVERY TIME affect the FOOD rating. Sure, they're new in the delivery game, and might have some kinks to work out, but the food is worth the wait! Hell, my father used to drive an hour and a half from the suburbs to bring us Christie's patties, and my brother always makes sure to bring some home.. to BOSTON!

I feel foolish for not reading the reviews first; just like they said, food takes forever. It took an hour and 35 minutes and, to add insult to injury, they got my order totally wrong, but I'm so hungry, I'm going to eat it anyways. You should NOT order from this restaurant via Seamless. I will certainly never ever order from this place again.

Looks promising from the menu, but don't be fooled. Ok portions for the price, but lacking in flavor and goodness. The Mac and cheese seems like it was stuck in the microwave with a Kraft single on top. No bueno. Also, everything was hard and cold, but that was probably because it took over an hour and a half for delivery. (I want my $4 back!) Of course I stuck it in the microwave (after a couple bites), but it was too late. Me, my momma, my Aunty, father, my little brother could do better. Maybe I'll give them another chance, try the oxtail... Maybe not

Horrible service. My food took much longer than expected and then once it got here my order was incorrect and stale! I called the restaurant and received the worst service ever. The woman I spoke to was rude and tried to tell me I ordered the wrong items. She even got loud over the phone. BUYERS BEWARE!!

Never again. The fried chicken was old, and cold. I ordered mac and cheese (which came with rice), and they called to say they were out, but would give me some fried plantains instead. When I got it, there was no rice, and the plantains were also old, and cold. NEVER. AGAIN.

I found out after placing my order that they were out of fish(at a Caribbean place?), and my order came with one whole plate missing. It's too much hassle for mediocre food. I use Seamless so that I don't have to be on the phone to track stuff down, or try jot get refund. I will not order from this place again.

The food was great but they really need to change their delivery time on the site from 20 minutes to 1 hour. Great food doesn't make up for horrible customer service. You have a great product; invest in better delivery service because 1 hour is completely unacceptable.

Dont order the the vegetable lunch special. It is a poor vegetarian attempt. The chicken pattie and coco bread is delicious and more their signature. I will order the other lunch specials next time. Food came in a timely manner.
