Chu's serves up consistently great food. Everything is always fresh tasting with the best cuts of meats. No gross gristle -y chicken or beef or filler veggies. The best Chinese!

Ok, so I ordinarily don't write reviews but after my experience with this restaurant yesterday, I'm compelled to write one. Firstly, the delivery guy, grumpy as anything, insisted we give him 'more tip' beyond the 15% tip we already included in our order...which was very disturbing. Secondly, when checking our order after it arrived, we had one item missing and one item - chow mein - which was not noodles, but rather some bizarre rice and cabbage dish. On calling and speaking to the restaurant, they told me that what they delivered to me was indeed 'chow mein' - when I think anyone, especially when you just happen to be half Chinese as well, knows chow mein is a noodle dish. Anyway, the restaurant told me they would not deliver the missing item 'until the next day' and when I said fine, give me a refund or I will complain to Seamless - they told me they'd deliver the missing item within 15 minutes. Needless to say, we sat here with an item we did not order and an item missing from our order...and the missing item was never delivered within the 15 minutes the restaurant said they would. Seamless has been wonderful, refunded me for the two dishes and so I am satisfied with Seamless...but stay away from Chu's Gourmet.

Ordered from here last night, the food is usually pretty good but last night I ordered the Four Seasons w/ white sauce. They sent me the order in brown sauce. I opened the package of food and there was a weird smell. I thought it was because of the seafood in the meal. Unfortunately I tasted the shrimp to find out it was spoiled. I am very disappointed

I ordered two dishes, and one of them came without the pancakes. I called the restaurant to ask for the missing pancakes for my moo-shu-port, and the lady was yelling in Cantonese, and would not tell me her name. I simply asked for a refund of the dish, or for someone to deliver the pancakes. The lady who answered the phone would not tell me her name, would not let me speak to the manager, and she hung up on me 4 times. I want my money back right now, this was a miserable experience.

It has been an hour and a half since the food was ordered, and everytime that I call, the restaurant says it is "on the way." Considering it takes all of 5 minutes to make chinese food, and I live 5 minutes away, this is ridiculous. I will not be ordering from here again.

Nothing crazy, nothing out of the ordinary, just awesome Chinese food (even the occasional item off the beaten path of takeout standards is good!) High quality, good portions...And they're consistent!!

Was a little hesitant after reading the reviews but just placed our first order and it was awesome. Everything we ordered came and the delivery was quick. The orange chicken and moo shoo pork were delicious and the portions were huge. Will definitely be our go-to Chinese place.

Large order, nothing edible except the cans of coke. Don't order unless your address is "trashcan".

The worst delivery guy I ever encountered. When I called to complain to the manager, she barely spoke English.

The food was acceptable, standard Chinese... but good luck getting what you ordered. When our delivery came, we were missing part of our order. I called the restaurant and was told that we should order from them tomorrow, and they would give us the missing items for free. So let me see, I order from you, you charge me but don't deliver what I ordered. And I should order from you tomorrow so you can give me a 'free' item that I already paid for? Uh-huh. When I insisted they bring what was missing, or credit my card, they brought the missing food. 2 HOURS later. And it was cold.

For East Coast Chinese, this is one of the best (based on one order so far). The sesame chicken is so good-try it!

Great Chinese place to feed your cravings for standard Chinese take-out. General Tso's Chicken was yummy and was comprised solely of white meat. Scallion pancakes were lightly fried then grilled. Tasty, but not your regular scallion pancake with pot sticker sauce.
