I've ordered 3 times from this place and each time was progressively worse. I'm come to the realization that there is just no good mexican restaurants in the UES (aside from Rosa mexicana which will cost you $27 for a tortilla, rice and beans, perhaps the 3 cheapest ingredients on this earth). You'd think a place called Cilantro would have a lot of Cilantro in its ingredients, but it doesn't. Save yourself from the chicken burrito unless you enjoy dried chopped up chicken and a tortilla wrap because that's pretty much the extent of it. The yellow rice tastes like an old shoe and that's putting it lightly. I would never order from this establishment again, unless I've convinced my girlfriend it's "not that bad" for a 4th time.. and then will immediately discover, yes, it is actually that bad.

This was really great! I got a chicken burrito which was delicious- the rice was good, the chicken was well cooked, and the guac was delicious. I also got chips and salsa which were surprisingly both home made. I definitely recommend cilantro!

The food at Cilantro is adequate - not great, but not bad. The chicken fajitas is our favorite dish there. But the delivery took way too long. It was supposed to take 15-30 minutes, and it took almost an hour! Also, when we called the restaurant after 40 minutes, the person there didn't seem very interested in our problem.

I love the make-your-own quesadilla option. Cilantro has great specials, like the mushroom and onion quesadilla. There salsa is so tasty; and they give you enough of it, you can save it for later. Perfect for a small snack or a big dinner. The delivery guys are very nice, and extremely quick. A must eat!!

$20 for some soggy, flavorless tacos, cold beans and weird tasting rice? No thanks. Not to mention it took TWO HOURS for my food to arrive. My estimate was an hour. I won't be ordering from here again.

My absolute favorite place to order. I guess I can't comment on the rest of the food items, but I always get the blue corn enchiladas (chicken) with the red pepper sauce and it's deeeelicious, along with the rice and beans. Delivery is quick.

I have to echo a previous reviewer that the delivery takes a very long time. The confirmation email provided me with an estimated delivery of 30 to 45 min. I have now waited for 70 min and still no food.

Ordered the wrap which was supposed to come with roasted corn, dressing, lettuce and grilled chicken. All I received was dry chicken and lettuce. Unfriendly customer service. Won't be ordering from this restaurant again with so many better and more authentic Mexican options in the Upper East side. I suggest Sabor a Mexico, Cascabel, Dos Camino, Aprovecho, and many others...

Food is ok but not worth the rude service. Beware if they forget to send chips with a chip & guacamole order, especially more than once, and you have the audacity to call in and report it, they will accuse you of stealing the chips. Horrible management!!

My delivery order was as good as the in-dining experience. Tasty mexican, generous portions! Chicken Blue Corn Enchilada w/ beans and rice was lunch for two days... and I come equipped with a substantial appetite! Warning: Guac has a lot of raw onion in it, but otherwise everything was delish!

Delivery time said 15-30 min. It took an hour ten min. Food came half smushed and luke warm. They use marinara sauce for the blue corn enchiladas. Tasted like chix parm. Delivery guac was awful. They dont give u the same kind that u get when u eat there. Try another mex place over this.

worst attempt at Mexican cuisine!! The food was overpowered by spices that did not blend well together. They managed to spoil even the black beans and rice that came as a side order for the dish. Extremely disappointed with the quality and taste of the food, I could have gone to Taco Bell and had better food. I hate Taco Bell so that is saying more than enough.
