Cinema Cafe - 34th St

Ordered the Xongos, becuase I wanted something incredible, and crave-worthy, not just sweet for dessert. Also got the Cafe Latte. I wasn't disappointed with either! Excellent, hit my craving to a T, and for that alone this would go on my fav's list. BUT....even better: devliery guy had issues with the latte transport - was up front, pointing out the spill in the bag, said he'd be back with fresh orders of BOTH items - for honesty and a willingness to make it right, when so many reviews here on seamless talk about delivery issues - 5 star service!!

Very poor customer service - Placed order, credit card charged and then received call from manager to say they don't deliver to my area despite the fact that they are listed as doing so on Seamlessweb and I've been a good customer for many years. Even though they would not deliver, my credit card was charged and I was advised by another manager that it would take 5 days to receive a credit, to which I replied that is unacceptable. He then proceeded to rant that he's been in business for 25 years.....Cinema used to be great, but no more.

I love dining at Cinema - I've literally never been disappointed. However, their delivery is certainly not up to the same standard, even when ordering exactly the same items. Not sure why this is the case, but the truffle mac and cheese that I salivate over in the restaurant becomes practically inedible when it's delivered. The tiramisu is consistently good, but all in all, I'm not ordering from here in the future.

their magerita pizza used to be the best. now it's like someone just slap dashed it together with rubbery dough. i live about 2 blocks from them, my pizza was dead cold when it was finally delivered. i just wasted my money. could have ordered somethng i really wanted. booooooo Cinema Restaurant. had to put one star to submit my review - actually no stars

I wish there was a zero stars rating for this restaurant. I just ordered eggs benedict with smoked salmon. They forgot the hollandaise sauce. The eggs were so overcooked that when you cut them open, the yolk was hard. And worst of all, the smoked salmon was so fishy that I literally gagged when I tried to eat it. The meal was so bad that I had to throw it out and order something else to eat. I have literally never done that in my 23 years of living in New York. Do NOT order from here!

Messed up eggs Benedict. Forgot holland arise sauce. Hash browns were dry and flavorless. Grits taste like cleaning chemicals and rubber. Asked for bacon on side then didn't charge my card and had me scrounging my apartment for 3 singles bc delivery guy didn't have change. Never again

While the food is decent, the portions are EXTREMELY small. I actually called the restaurant seriously asking them if someone had eaten my dinner prior to delivery. I will give 2 stars because they did send over a complimentary napoleon which was not terrible.

Don'y order from these fools. They decided to close their kitchen 30 minutes early on me and the lady gave me a major attitude when I asked her why. Customer service professionals they are NOT. Take your money elsewhere.

I was very disappointed with WILD MUSHROOM AND GRUYERE OMELETTE. They described that shiitake, portobello, crimini, oyster and button mushrooms are in the omelette, but all they had was button mushrooms! I do like the restaurant... but I was soo expecting to taste all different types of mushrooms. Please change the menu to what it is. Thank you.

For a late night joint, this place has atmosphere and excellent food. I say late night, because oftentimes by the time I want to order, this is the go-to place for me. Excellent food for a great price, I highly recommend!

Terrible. Inedible, soggy sandwich. Then, they sent the wrong dessert. We called to complain about the mistake. They put me on hold for ten minutes, before eventually agreeing to send the correct dessert, but when it arrived, it looked terrible as well, as if it had been sabotaged. The delivery guy refused a tip and demanded that we give him back the original, wrongly delivered dessert, which was now in the trash. Horrible ordering experience.

The teriyaki chicken and soba noodle salad is usually good, but the mac and cheese is SO oily. The croque monsieur was horrible, the ham on it was old and the bread was stale. Pizza was supposed to have fresh mozzarella, but it was half and half. I like that they deliver popcorn with your meal however. Delivery estimate was accurate.

First of all they say the food takes 10-25 minutes..my order camre in a hour and it was cold.I ordered a sandwich and belgian fries, They sent me regular fries w/dipping sauce. I called them because had I known they were french fries I would not have ordered them since french fries or a salad come w/the sandwich. When I called to complain they offered nothing to correct their misleading menu. The food was below average and their service is horrendous.
