City Market Cafe (23rd/5th)

I order a lot of food from City Market Cafe (twice a week) and the food (mostly pasta) always comes perfectly cooked, with a decent amount of extras for a fair price. The only thing that makes them lose a star is that they sometimes get the order wrong. Fe. I just ordered a basil pesto pasta and I got a tomato basil pasta instead. Things like that shouldn't occur. Too bad guys bc your food is really good, you always use fresh ingredients and the staff is very friendly! Just make it right from now on OK? ///// Ever since I posted this, I always got the pasta I wanted! And today they just delivered me the best one ever! I asked for additional cheese and a hint of garlic and they didn't charge me for it! Thank you City Market Café!!! Perfectly prepared and always a great amount of food!

The order never came. I called them after 1 hour and they said it would come soon. After another while, I called seamless who called City Market. They said I lived to far from them. Thank you for letting me know. Even when I called they didn't tell me. They could at least have called and told me. 100 % unprofessional.

I ordered for the first time and my order was an Everything Bagel w/ Lox and cream cheese. Well, not only was the bagel delicious, it arrived neatly and nicely laid out. It was actually extremely good to eat. I enjoyed how they separated the bagel into 4 quarters and each quarter was individually topped. A+ in my book.

Awful customer service. The suggested delivery time was 15-30 minutes. I called once 60 minutes had passed, and they said I should be receiving it any second. Called again when 75 minutes had passed. Called a third time when an hour and a half had passed, and there was still no sign of my food. At that point I suggested they remake it and send it again, and got an earful of excuses from the woman on the phone. Finally decided to cancel my order despite the fact that I've wasted 2 hours on these people. Absolutely unacceptable way to run a business.

beware-- while the food isn't bad whatever you order will only be used as a guideline. i ordered a greek breakfast wrap, a side of broccoli with cherry tomatoes, and 3 cookies. The greek breakfast wrap is supposed to contain salsa, jalapenos and onions (weird for a greek wrap but whatever), yet all 3 ingredients were missing. My broccoli and tomatoes somehow translated into mozzarella cheese and tomatoes and my peanut butter cookie was replaced by oatmeal raisin. what a mess.

My coworkers and I used to order from here 2x a week but then one day they get my order wrong and tell me, "We can't deliver the correct item to you until another delivery guy goes to that area (as if we're miles away)." What kind of service is that? Too bad for you guys because you just lost my company's business.

Order from here every day! Delivery is super quick and everything is always fresh. If there's ever an issue with a special request they call right away to make sure you're happy with the order. Never had any issue with delivery, service or food.

Order was all wrong- we ordered 2 everything bagels, a lemonade and 3 chocolate chip cookies. They delivered 1 everything bagel, 1 plain bagel, orange juice and a raisin cookie, chocolate chip cookie and peanut butter cookie. if they would have called and said they were out of certain items, etc. I wouldn't have minded but this was bad business. I will never order from here again. There are many more places with better customer service and can get an order right.

i only got a salad... they put the wrong dressing, it was this weird pepper stuff and it threw off the entire taste of my lunch, o by the way if you order crutons, they are not regular, these taste like bbq crutons, which throws off the flavor even more.

HORRIBLE. These people can't get your order straight and they deliver 2 hours after you order it. It's unfortunate because the food is pretty good. But this place is just too aggravating. Never again.
