Coastal Restaurant

I found glass chards in my chips. When I called the restaurant, they did not apologize, just said they would look into it and call me back Two days later no call. Makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. After being a fan for awhile, I will never order again in fear of what else could be in my food.

These guys are notoriously very loose with their "estimated" delivery time. I have had issues with them in the past, but tonight pushed me over the edge. After submitting my order and receiving a confirmation that it would arrive in 30-45 min, I called after 45 minutes and was told that my order was just going into the kitchen then. They said that I would have the order in 30 min (my guess is that it would be at least 45 min., based on history). I then called Seamless web customer service who told me that they were still listing a delivery time of 30-45 minutes and that after SW spoke to the restaurant (the manager's name was Maria, I believe) Coastal said they didn't know how to change their expected delivery time. My conclusion is to put no credence in any estimated delivery time from this restaurant.

The food here is good and consistent, but I have stopped ordering because their delivery people are the worst. At best they are rude, and I've been screamed at by one and had my food thrown at me by another. I order almost every night and I've never had any restaurants delivery people be so consistently awful.

Steak burrito was exactly what I was looking for, but it's way too pricey for me to order on a frequent basis. Coastal...If you're listening. If this was under $12, ideally under $10, I would wind up ordered it wayyy more often. It's a burrito, not a gourmet meal.

ordered burger medium but it came well done and was way too dry. the bun was barely toasted and dry as well. half of the shrimp rolls were fallen apart. food wasn't terrible but not worth 5 stars at all. won't order again

How does this place get 5 stars?? I've ordered from costal off and on for the last year, bc my fiancee likes their dumplings... but EVERY TIME the food arrives ice cold, looking like it was pre-made hours ago, and at least 15-30 minutes after the "estimated" delivery time (which is usually stated at 45 minutes!) Tonight my food arrived 2 HOURS after the stated delivery time; they said that they were "backed up" and didn't deliver until 10 pm! Did I mention that the food is super expensive? Never, never again.

We ordered a few of the items marked as most popular, and half an hour later got a phone call telling us they were out of veggie burgers. We changed that item in our order, and then 5 minutes later got another phone call telling us they were out of a different item in our order. We got our food about an hour after that (around an hour and a half after ordering), and the food was really not very good. Definitely not worth the hassle, and we wont be ordering from here again.

I love the eclectic menu -- where else can you order sushi AND cheddar mashed potatoes, and find them equally well prepared?? The vegetable dumplings are also amazing. Consistently satisfying food and service.

worst service i have ever received. it took TWO HOURS for the deliver to show up -- even after repeated phone calls to follow up, I was lied to and told "the delivery is on the way" twice, then told "he's leaving now"... and to top it off, when the food finally showed up they totally screwed up the order.

disappointing. I ordered the stir fry with tofu and it had so much sauce and was so soggy that no one would think of it as stirfry.
