Cowgirl SeaHorse

The rating I'm giving Cowgirl SeaHorse is for my last particular order, not the overall quality of their food. I have been a long time customer of this restaurant, and usually have very good experiences. I ordered with this July 30th, and was very disappointed in the service. One of the items that I ordered they no longer had. I asked them to take the food off my bill (as opposed to ordering something else) and that was fine. Because it was a Saturday, they told me it may not go through until Monday. No problem. And the food was taken off my bill by the next day. Great. Well after waiting an hour for my food, I called the restaurant to see if it had been sent out yet. Still no problem as they estimate approx 60 mins for delivery. Well, I had been told that the food had already left. 30 minutes later, I called back to find out what was going on. Knowing that my food had left the restaurant more the 1/2 an hour previously, I knew nothing would be hot anymore. I was told that the delivery guy was new and they were sorry that's not an excuse. I was also told that I was one of 3 deliveries that went out. I am less then 3 blocks from the restaurant, and one of the other deliveries was even closer to them then I am. They told me that they would take care of me the following Monday. That they would credit my bill for my inconvenience. They never bothered to do so. My food did actually arrive, more then 50 minutes after they told me it left the restaurant. Needless to say, my hard shell tacos were no longer hard shelled and the nachos we ordered were completely soggy as well. As mad as I was at having to wait 2 hours for cold soggy food, I'm even more mad that the guy that I dealt with promised to make it right, and never bothered to do so. I'm not so sure I will be ordering from them again, which is a shame because I've always been a big fan of their food.

I've ordered from this place online several times, in the spirit of misguided optimism. First time, my order of corn dogs with cheese and grilled onions, they delivered 2 containers, one with the corn dogs, one with a slice of melted american cheese. Does not compute. The second time, my fish tacos were TINY.. about 2 bites each, and the side of guac was about 2 tablespoons worth. The small portions are insulting, and the fact that it took an hour to deliver my food (after a reminder call) when I only live 1 block away, only adds insult to injury. Sorry Cowgirl, I will not be tempted by your online offerings any longer.

Most unbelievable burger, fries and fish tacos. This is my favorite place in all of the Big Apple. No one has yet to dethrone the goodness of the cowgirl. Honey Mustard is off the charts. 10/10

I have ordered from this place the past couple weeks and must say the seahorse is solid!! food has always been top notch and most important for deliveries ---> HOT (chicken fried chicken is amazing btw)... Two nights ago I ordered and tried the brownie definitely the best on seamless

We have tried this restaurant many times. We live close by... They are slow on delivery times and the food is always inconsistent and often times terrible.

NEVER ON TIME The food is decent but they are ALWAYS over 30 minutes late. Even when I order early in the morning for an afternoon lunch they dont come until close to 1:00 and even AFTER 1. I wont order from here again.

Last two orders from this restaurant have been incomplete. Unacceptable. Manager said he couldn't fix one of the issues with the order because the kitchen was already closed. No adjustment to the bill, either. A poor way of handling the situation.

Food is ok, but not worth the wait. I had to wait over an hour an twenty minutes for the delivery. When I called to inquired after an hour of waiting when it said it would be 45 to 60 mins, the owner said "any minute." Then I called again at after 75 minutes and the owner gave me attitude! Eat-in only! It is not worth the wait and the attitude.

Good brunch options, though they sometimes forget to include smaller items like the side salsa or biscuit or something in the delivery.

Those rattlesnake bites are not searingly spicy, which some people won't like, but I found them a pleasure. Reasonably priced and excellent dinners, with a creative twist (as you'd expect from a place with a name like this). Gumbo and zingy cornbread - excellent. Sweet potato fries without the grease, served w/ a decent dip. Creative kitchen. One of my new favorite places to order from.

Food is really good, delivery service is horrible. More than once, it has taken them 1 hour 30 minutes to deliver my food. I live very close by also. I've been waiting 1 hour and 24 minutes for my current order, and it still hasn't arrived.

I have ordered from here several times and while this place used to be good, it has gone downhill. An item (side of guacamole) was missing from my order and when I called concerning the missing item I was questioned several times as to whether it was not in my order. I also received no apology whatsoever for the mistake. Additionally, overall my order is half the portion that I normally receive. Poor customer services, portions cut in half instead of price raises . . .No thanks!

I live literally around the corner from this place. My food arrived an hour later (30-45 minute estimate) and luke warm. I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich with fries. Fries tasted fine, but were somewhat soggy. Sandwich bun was good, except that they had it sitting in the moisture of the container which made part of the bottom of it wet. The chicken was average, somewhat dry, and NOT hot at all. This is my first time ordering, and I am definitely disappointed considering it is a 1-2 minute walk to my apartment from this restaurant and yet it arrived only luke warm.
