Something about this particular Punjabi place is unusually special. I've ordered from Indian food all over the city, but only the sauces of their white meat Chicken Vindaloo and their Mixed Veg Curry -- of this place only, in NYC -- take me quite as back directly to the best London Indian bistro of my college days with such a Proustian rush. Try it once: you'll see what I mean. This place is different, it is fantastic.

I ordered for the first time yesterday from Curry & Tandoor. I must say the food was delicious, the price was great and best of all they are Halal so you know your getting quality food. The delivery was fast I ordered the Shrimp Saag and loved it. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Delivery is punctual but the food isn't all that tasty. The na'an is too thick and bready, the curry is watery. Not a fan.

Lamb biryani was delicious, I'd order that again if I were ordering there again. But that's not likely. Unfortunately, the other dishes were less than stellar. The saag paneer was soupy, not the heavier consistency it should be. The tandoor chicken was a bust. I did not expect to pay $8 for one piece of chicken-leg and thigh combined-and it was really tough, way overcooked. A phone call to the restaurant confirmed that one piece of chicken was appropriate for the $8. Huge disappointment. Maybe it was just the plating, and if properly cooked that would be enough. As it were, not a great experience.

Tastiest Indian Food I have come across in NYC. The food feels lighter than other Indian restaurants and delivery is typically quick.

The veggie platter is a good value, you get two options of dishes! They forgot my coke, but promise to resolve it right away, with a free mango lashi. I wish that their portion is a little big more generous, because they're delicious!!! and I suggest that they put the actual delivery time estimate (60 min) instead of cutting themselves short by putting 30-45min. I don't mind waiting for the actual delivery time.

Can't rate the food because I never received it. After 45 minutes of waiting, I called the restaurant to check on the status of the order and I was told it was going to take another 45 minutes or so (this after Seamless gave an estimation of 30-45 minutes TOTAL). I was told the food was ready and "just sitting there" waiting for the delivery guy to come back. As hungry as I was, cold Indian food just didn't sound very appealing. Plus, the guy was rude and unapologetic.

I can only speak to the vegetarian options but they've always been fresh tasting and flavorful whenever I've ordered. And the prices cannot be beat, particularly in this neighborhood.

The delivery estimates are nowhere near accurate. I would rate the food, but 1.5 hours later, I'm still waiting.

Food took over 1.5 hours to arrive (30-45 minute estimate) and when it did get here, I was disappointed. Probably the worst Indian food I have ever had. The Saag Paneer was watery and generally flavorless, and Chicken Tikka Masala fared only slightly better. Won't be ordering from here again.

This place would be decent if they didn't choose to water down their entrees and then try to mask that by adding salt and chilli powder. I will not be ordering from here again.

After repeated calls to confirm when our order would get here "in 5 minutes" each time, the food finally got here after an hour and fifteen minutes (should have been 30-45 mins). When I opened the bag, everything was slopped around and leaking everywhere - it was a complete mess. The food was really watery and bland tasting. Literally, the chicken tikka masala was orange salty water with a few chunks of chicken in it. Never again.
