Curry & Kabab

Sunday night 14 August. We took a chance and ordered from Curry & Kabab and to say it was disappointing in all regards is an understatement. The food arrived 45 minutes after I placed the order. Not only was the order completely wrong (both arrived spicy; one should have been mild.) The chicken was dried out. Other things were in the order that we had NO idea to what purpose it served for the either meal and because we ere hungry, we ate what arrived. In the future we'll go back to ordering from Angaan. It costs more but they get it right (and their food delivery is always fast, accurate and delicious!). Sorry Curry & Kebab -- you need to step it up if you want to remain in business.

The food is very watery and the paneer tastes like hard rubber. One of the worst indian food experiences I have ever had in NYC. If you like curry that tastes like water and food that tastes like hard rubber, go for it. Else, I suggest staying steer clear!

they forgot one part of my order and when i realized it (15 min after delievery) and called them, they apologized and sent it right over. Good flavors..but the curry chicken (medium) was REALLY spicy..prob should order mild in the future

Pretty good food. Cheaper and just as good as other Indian options in the neighborhood. Chicken curry is good, and dinner specials are a good deal. Delivery was speedy and friendly. I recommend it!

Had I only ordered from this restaurant once I would've given it 5 stars for speedy delivery (on a Friday night!) and decent food at a reasonable price, HOWEVER, the second time I ordered way too many things went wrong. The food took forever (we ordered on a Wednesday night), an order of rice and naan were forgotten and the restaurant mixed up the curry order (switched the shrimp and chicken and put them in the wrong curry). I'm very very wary of ordering from this restaurant again.

By far the worst Indian food we've ever had. Everything tastes like left over from their lunch buffet. The chicken was rubbery, the cabbage was tasteless, the appetizers consists of mystery fried stuff that you can't even make out what it was. It was just a pile of brown food not to mention the delivery took close to an hour.

Delivery is very slow, well over an hour, and the staff is quite rude on the phone. Plenty of indian places in the area with better food and service.

The naan and the rice were excellent. The chicken vindaloo was sub-par. However, I am very picky about my chicken, but even a "normal" eater might be a bit grossed out. The chicken had a lot of gristle, and there was only a little bit of white meat that I could pick through and eat. Otherwise, the majority of the chicken got shoved to the side. I don't think I will be ordering from here again.

Food tasted great and came in a timely fashion. I would order from here again, however it was a bit expensive, but probably no less expensive than any other Indian restaurant on the Upper West Side. Also the food was a little cold when it arrived. Still a nice place to order from.
