Dallas Jones BBQ

The BBQ sandwich might have been ok if they had not sent the sandwich out for delivery with the BBQ on the bun. When it arrived, late, it was a soggy inedible mess. The coleslaw was totally flavorless.

Very average BBQ. I ordered the ribs. Small portions for the price and sauce that tastes out of a bottle. Doubt I will order again but delivery was very swift.

The best ribs that I have had in the city. I'm a big fan of their North Carolina sauce and the okra and tomatoes side, but everything that I have had has been great. I have been ordering from Dallas Jones for years. They never disappoint. The owners are very nice and definitely care about bring great food to their customers. The owner even delivered my order himself one night when they were very busy.

Taste was terrible. I am from the South and this is not barbecue. Do not order the pulled pork sandwich. Even the mac & cheese was not good.

Food is very good here, especially the pulled pork sandwich. One time, an order was running a little late and they called to let me know and apologize. I appreciated knowing that the order was still on its way, even though it was a bit behind schedule.

Very disappointing. We ordered mozzarella sticks and the fried chicken platter. I had to throw out half of the mozzarella sticks because they were soggy. Ditto with the chicken. The mac and cheese was just orange mush and also had to be thrown out. Will never order from here again, it is a waste of money and food.

Tasty pulled pork sandwich.... YUM! Saved my hungover day! Delivery always comes on time (or earlier) when I pre-set a delivery time. Great.

Slow, slow, slow. If it wasn't for the speed, I'd have given the place 4 stars. They say they take 15-30 minutes to deliver, and then confirmed w/ an ETA of 20-45 minutes. In the end, it took over an hour and a half just to deliver it - close to an hour including the time waiting for the confirmation! Having said that, the food was decent. The fries were thick cut and would've been very good but were a little soggy (probably from delivery). The pulled pork sandwich was pretty good, definitely not bad for the neighborhood. I'm sure in North Carolina it would've gotten panned, but for downtown Manhattan, it's pretty good. If they weren't so slow, I'd order from there again. If I do order from there again, I'll be doing it well in advance to make sure I get it on time.

Meh.. flavor was good, but I feel like the portion was tiny for the price. Tiniest sized cornbread & barely a tsp of gravy on the mashed (it was laughable... I would have rather not gotten any as opposed to what I did get). Wasn't a big fan of the collard greens...

sandwich was just...ehhh. Pulled pork was dry and stringy, sauce was out of the bottle, fries were tatsy but soggy, did not deliver condiments i requested. Oh yeah, and they were cheap wirth the dry stringy meat. At least give generous portions if you cannort manage to deliver the quality.
