Delmonico's Gourmet Food Market (59th)

Food is OK, but when I ordered a $5 fruit salad, the fruit box was more than half-empty. I know how much other restaurants would give for $4 fruit salad, so I felt cheated.

I ordered a cheeseburger from this place and paid for a side of fries. Delmonico's called me to tell me that they didn't have any fries left, and they told me they wouldn't charge me for the fries. When I received my order they still charged me and when I spoke with a representative she told me that it's only $1.50.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTARANT! My food was delivered 45 minutes late when I only have a 30 minute lunch! UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I order from here at LEAST once a week, because for the most part, the food is OK and the delivery usually doesn't take too long. However, today I ordered a Genoa salami sandwich on 7 grain bread and got a turkey (!) sandwich on whole wheat...this has happened several times to me lately, and judging from the tenor of the most recent comments, I'm not alone in getting poor service from this place. Looking for another go-to deli.....

Service was poor. Delivery took almost 1.5 hours. Food was cold and congealed. Awful experience.

DO NOT ORDER FROM Delmonico my eggs were overcooked and dry, the potates so greesy they could not be eaten, and the jelly was so old it had dried up, delivery took an hour. I will never order from there again!

This was by far the worst lunch I've ever ordered through seamless. I ordered a tuna melt on rye and the sandwich arrived so soggy and watery. I couldn't eat it! Also, it was also suppose to come with french fries and a pickle and it came with nothing. I'll never order from here again!!

Ordered a lunch sandwich and they used the wrong dressing (the worst ingredient to get wrong). I would have sent it back but it arrived more than 20 minutes late and my hunger outweighed having an enjoyable meal.

Terrible breakfast order. The order came late, cold, no butter on the toast or even on the side. If you want to actually EAT your breakfast, avoid this place.

Ordered three corned beef sandwiches on rye on St. Patty's day 2010. Only one of three arrived on the first delivery. The rye bread was white bread with a few seeds and soggy. The corned beef was just shiny, cold cut, corned beef. We threw out the bread and picked at the corned beef. We could care less if the other two get delivered.
