The food at Dig Inn is always delicious and the prices IN STORE are actually reasonable. This 2 star review is geared primarily around their service and business practices. I have been a customer at this establishment for a few months and I have eaten at multiple locations. The only location I have ordered from is the Midtown one. It is frankly upsetting that the delivery portions are 20-25% smaller than the in-store portions, even though the cost is higher because you are paying a premium for the Seamless delivery service. So, not only is the customer paying more, but they are getting less product. Additionally, if you don't take advantage of all 3 sides included in the price, they will give you even less food. So, regardless of whether you order 1 or 3 sides, the size of the side is the same, instead of being scaled. This is a deceptive business practice and it doesn't matter if it's happening at an employee or management level. Bottom line, the customer is being blatantly ripped off. Additionally, the employees forget to include utensils and straws about 50% of the time and the delivery times are always inaccurate. I don't have an issue with waiting longer for a delivery, but when you quote a delivery time of 15-30 minutes, make sure you deliver on that promise.

Tasty, healthy, quality ingredients, fast delivery, and great website (includes nutrition facts and more). However, some deliveries have been incomplete (i.e. missing extra side of protein, missing a side order). Otherwise, Dig Inn is a solid go-to.

I love this place, because what you get is what I call 'real' food. You get tasty meat and fresh vegetables that aren't soaked in tons of salt, butter, or oil, which is almost impossible to find these days. It's simple and lovely and I love it. The platters are expensive but feed me for 2 or 3 meals so it works out for me. I was worried when they changed the name (and owners?) but it seems the menu is relatively the same and changes seasonally now, which is great. However, I have to ding them a star for some of their prices. Almost $4 for what amounts to a ladle of soup is ridiculous. Their 'large' soup is smaller than a small soup at most other places. Smartwater for $3 when you can get it for $1.75 from other restaurants. Same for the prices on their sides of meat and veggies. That being said, it's all fresh and healthy, not laden with salt and fat, and still manages to be tasty, and I haven't found anywhere else that can do that (yet). Update: portions have shrank considerably and the food isn't quite as good as it used to be, but still the only healthy non bland option that I've found. Too bad really about the changes.

Just finished my very first meal from Dig Inn Seasonal Market and I must say I was very happy with my meal. As a person who deals with multiple medical issues, I strive to find food that is both healthy and tasty and this really filled the bill. With most places, if you don't want salt for example, you must resort to asking for steamed food with no sauce or seasoning and therefore no flavor, Everything I had from Dig Inn was healthy, deliciously prepared and nicely seasoned - but definitely not laden with salt! I will definitely be ordering again.

Incredible improvement in food from PUMP! Delivery time has so far been excellent and management response to issues has been pleasant and quick. As a new Celiac, I am loving the vast options to eat hot gluten free food that tastes DELICIOUS! Such a nice alternative to just having salads. Great job, Dig Inn! Keep it up!

DO NOT TRUST DIG INN'S DELIVERY ESTIMATE. If you say it will take 15-30 minutes, don't call me after 45 minutes to tell me you're out of the soup I ordered. Thanks.

Consistently late with orders by more than 20m despite only being a couple of streets away.

Seamless web has fake reviews - it's annoying. I noticed the exact same ones on multiple restaurants' pages. Dig Inn - really bad new name, Pumped Up. At least, the order got through and came within 40 minutes. They don't carry the Serious Green anymore, all she had to offer me were Apple green and Sweet green. Either way, these 16 oz. bottles are NOT worth nearly $9. Food hasn't been amazing twice in a row, they were out of meatballs so I traded for tofu, just not good. Healthy food CAN be satisfying, people. And really doesn't need to be over-priced. It's unfortunate. Places like this put a bad name on healthy food, and then change there branding which ends up just making it all worse. For whatever reason, they didn't want to appeal to the greens-eating, energy food crowd anymore, and wanted to join the ranks of all the other pseudo-health but-really-appealing-to-the-masses restaurants. Just so disappointing.

Real good food, but the 55th Street location is late way too often. Try the 38th Street location for better service.

I reall love this chain, but this location is sub-standard. Food has on more than one occassion arrived well outside of the delivery window they promise, and on more than one occassion tehy have forgotten add-ons to the meal, or the appropriate sauces. Would like them to be more accurate.

Ordered a protein plate, received no protein. Ordered a side, received no side. Food is still good though.

Overall the food is very good. However, the odds that your order is correct I would estimate at 1 in 3. This place has uncanny ability to not include the correct sides with your order... even though that is the premise of the menu... meat and 3 sides. In addition, the meat portions are increasingly bare. A "large" beef plate with 3 sides generally means you get two forks full of beef and a plate of carrots for ~$13. They should do better.
