Absolutely terrible service, DO NOT order with this place. I placed an order with Diwan-E-Khaas, and after over a half hour, someone from the restaurant called saying that they would not be delivering the order because it was outside of their delivery range -- even though I am less than a 5 minute walk from the restaurant and obviously my address falls within their delivery range as indicated on Seamless Web. The person was incredibly rude and twice hung up on my when I simply asked if I would still be billed for my order. Clearly this is not a restaurant that knows the first thing about customer service. There are many better options.

We have tried all of the Indian places in the Financial District, and we keep coming back to Diwan-E-Khaas. They have the best prices and really great food. I love their samosas and the tandoori chicken.

Lightning-fast delivery! It took only 11 minutes from the time I placed the order until the doorbell rang. The food was great (the Chicken Executive Box also includes rice and naan in addition to the noted items), and it was well packaged to arrive tidily even after its high-speed delivery ride through the streets of Manhattan.

Unfortunately though I wanted to really like this restaurant, I have to give them a (generous) two stars only. I had placed my order at 7pm and received a confirmation email shortly afterwards stating that my estimated delivery time was 15-30 minutes. Two hours later, I reached out to them before they closed and was told they had no idea I had placed an order. It was the typical delivery service bummer that no matter how good the food is, makes me never want to order from this place again.

Food is really tasty. I you like "real" Indian food this place is highly recommended. I usually order their vegetarian lunch box: Food taste like authentic Indian food. Quantity is more than enough. Nan is soft (although its not real Indian Nan, it kind of Pita bread). Delivery is real fast. (for me atleast)

Quick food delivery. Chicken Makhani and Lamb Korma ordered tasted very good. Samosa and vegetable pakora ordered was good too. Food from here tasted better than some of the other Indian food places, e.g. Baluchi's, Taj. Will order from here again next time there's a craving for IndIan food.

This is a much better value than the other Indian restaurant in the financial district - you can get a dinner combo which includes a main, 2 sides such as palak paneer and all the good sides people like, and naan for only around $10-11. A side of raita is only .50 cents! With other restaurants you have to order each entree at $10-12 each. Indian food is meant to be eaten in tandem with other dishes. So this is my preferred seamless Indian delivery.

This is the first time I've posted a review on seamless, and I think this place is so great I took the time to post my raving review for them. Every Thrsday we order lunch via seamless for 12 people and of course from time to time a restaurant forgets an item. I called this place for a missing samosa (we ordered 4 and received 3). The samosa was delivered within 10 minutes. Later in the afternoon the manager called to apologize. I liked that personal touch, so we ordered from them again. Again the manager called later in the afternoon to make sure our order was ok (it was). When I ordered from them a 3rd time, the manager called me to tell me the delivery person had just left and would be here in 5 minutes, that they added some free samosa, lamb korma, and naan, and if there was anything missing to call and ask specifically for her, and that they'll send over any missing item right away. This was really a nice touch. As far as the food goes I personally find it amazing. I go with the executive chicken lunch of tikka massala, Aloo Matar, Amritsari Chole, and a side of samosa. It's too much food for me to finish during lunch, so I bring the rest home for dinner and make my boyfriend jealous. Getting ready to place another order with them right now.

delivery was fast.... food was extremely tasty... BUT: the Chicken Tikka Dinner I ordered had 5 small pieces of chicken and about 8 strips of onion - I expected a bit more for the money. Also, the rasmalai dessert left me craving more with 2 small dumplings drowned by the sweet sauce... again would have expected at least 4 pieces for the money spent. Great food... lousy portions

This is our favorite Indian delivery place downtown! The Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Makhani, and Vegetable Pakora are all fantastic! Other reviews have suggested the Chicken Tikka Masala might be a bit lackluster, so if this is your usual Indian selection, opt for the Chicken Makhani!
