I too was severely disappointed by the food of Eddie's Cafe, so much so that i think a support group should be formed for its victims. With a rating of five-stars one would expect that the food would be so tasty, fresh, or creative that one would not want to put his/her fork down, yet i just took my first bite and feeling of guilt has overwhelmed me because I have to throw this abomination away. The General Tso's Chicken ( The "Most Ordered Item") is rubber, there is complete absence of "all white meat", The Double Cooked Pork is the consistency of gristle (which might as well be rubber), the fried rice has no taste and for the matter nor do the aforementioned items ordered. All in all, unless you are trying to stop world hunger using food byproducts there is truly no reason to ever order from here. BUT SERIOUSLY, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. Also be sure to rate 1 star because no rating maintains this restaurant's five star rating.

Took an hour. Would love to tell you if the food is any good, ordered soup, main dish, asparagus, edamame. Bag came with no chop sticks or spoon or fork or any means of eating the food delivered. Not the first time. 2 strikes are enough when Meiwah is FANTASTIC. Called but by the time they show up it is cold, unedible. Meiwah is fantastic Eddie's needs to attend to the simple things like being able to eat the food when it is delivered to a hotel. Where I live and have so many other places that do such a great job. Actually contacted Amex to deny payment on this one and I am a pretty easy going guy. Did I mention Meiwah?

I love the gyro pita and their seasoned french fries are a great accompaniment. I'm always sad when I see that they are closed (on Sunday) and no longer taking orders (on busy nights)--but that just makes me more likely to order on a timely basis. Their delivery time has been exceptional, too, usually less than half the time of their estimate.

The food is pretty decent and delivery comes fast. They give you a good amount for the price of the specials! Pork wasn't as tender as I wanted and chicken wasn't either. Maybe that's just me? But def. still serviceable!

I love this place. The egg drop soup is standard, but never messed up (and you get enough of the crispy wontons to go with). My boyfriend and I always get the dumplings (both fried and steamed taste great -- it's just a matter of which texture you prefer) and the Crab Rangoon. Everything comes with more than enough sauce, which is sometimes a problem with delivery. And they seriously get us our food so fast. They're also used to us by now so we don't even have to ask them to bring it up -- they're on it. It's not going to knock your socks off with gourmet taste, but if you want quick, delicious Chinese delivery they are the best.

I ordered the spring rolls and shrimp with vegetables . I am not kidding the dish smelt like an outhouse. I thought it was just me, but I asked my girlfriend what she thought and she said it smelt like urine. Will not try again.

Delivery was super quick, I will grant them that. But the food is awful - it was spicy, yes, but completely lacking in any flavor, at all. Garlic broccoli dish for some reason was sweet. Not good. Unless you are accustomed to mediocre/bland chinese food, do not order from this place. Also, as other reviewers have noted, they did not provide chopsticks presumably because you're at home and don't need them, but if not, make sure to ask for napkins and utensils.

First time food was delivered, the drinks werent. Had to call delivery guy who brought drinks after about 10 minutes. Then we realized they hadnt delivered any utensils, not even chopsticks. Partly our fault for not noticing lack of utensils but cant believe they forgot both items.

As far as reasonably priced delivery Chinese, this is the best I have had, for comparison it is far better than Wok and Roll on 18th street, and even better than dynasty, in Dupont which is pretty good. I especially like the beef on stick and fried dumplings.
