Empire Szechuan (100th Street)

I am sorry to say I can not provide a positive review of Empire Szechuan. I ordered the Bento Box with Chicken Teryaki and the included salad (the choice was either Miso Soup or the salad). Nearly an hour later a very nice man delivered Chicken Katsudon with no soup or salad at all. The chicken had been overcooked till it was dry and flavorless. Very disappointing.

Horrible!! I ordered the sesame chicken. It came was over cooked and totally inedible. I will never order from Empire Szechuan Noodle House again, no matter how hungry I am!

This used to be quite good. Today it's an hour and a half after my order and it hasn't been delivered. A first round came that had items missing and wrong. When I called they said they didn't have enough workers, and couldn't they just give me "credit" for next time. I said, no I wanted my order delivered. They said okay, just wait another hour. So here I am waiting for what was wrong and missing from the first order... Also, the quality of the food has gone way, WAY down. My vegetarian soup had NO flavor and the tofu, which used to be a stand out, was of terrible quality.

I don't usually write reviews but this food was just terrible. I ordered the Wonton soup, sweet steamed buns and the spare rib tips. The soup was so salty it was inedible. The spare rib tips tasted old and microwaved. And the sweet steamed buns i never recieved, they gave me dumplings instead. The food was horrendous, never ordering from here again.

Always consistent, amazing menu, fast delivery, good to take out/eat in also! Happy to have such great vegetarian entrees available as well, especially in this neighborhood. But I wish they had Coke instead of Pepsi.

I have had the SHRIMP FRIED RICE from here several times and it is pretty tasty. No complaints. The pint-size is more than satisfying. HOWEVER, I ordered their SHRIMP PAD THAI for the first time a couple of days ago and it was the worst pad thai I have ever had. No taste -- AT ALL. Seems like they just threw all the ingredients in a wok with no seasoning and then put it in a takeout bowl. Don't waste your money on the Pad Thai. I ate it because I was hungry and it was a late order, but it tasted very, very bland. Will never order it again.

I'm thankful to them for being one of the few places open and delivering as late as I ordered, but the Sesame Chicken I had was unquestionably the worst I've ever had. It was dry, tough, and generally not good. I'm sad to say, but I'd hate for someone to waste their money like I did.

We order this at work and find the eggplant garlic really good. However the chicken and brocolli was not that good. The lunch special is truly amazing. It lasts for days..

Horrendous sushi and lo mein. They forgot half of the order at the restaurant and when the food finally arrived it wasn't even the right combination of food. All in all not worth your money.
