Ethos Greek Cuisine

$56 for take out is a lot...especially when the food is overpriced. I didn't know that food could be tasteless and too salty at the same time.It's such a shame because it used to be the best greek food I ever had and now it's the worst.

excellent greek and reasonable delivery times (im about 12 blocks away) the food is very tasty, and a great option for healthy dining and because of this we have ordered about 10 times in the last 2-3 weeks. the food is always fresh and things like grilled calamari and octopus travel surprisingly well.

RUDE staff. Indicated delivery time was 25-40 minutes. I waited for over one hour and 15 minutes. When I called the restaurant, for the second time, I was told that normal delivery time is over an hour. The person that answered the phone couldn't have been less apologetic. To the management at Ethos: your food is slightly above average, your portions are on the small side and your staff is not helpful. You've lost a customer today.

The food from this place is awesome. Comes fast, hot, and fresh. And delicious! I usually order the quail app, which is enough for a meal, and one of the lamb dishes, which are all great. I also like the all-green salad, the Greek sausage app, the tzasiki, and, well, I haven't had anything from this place that wasn't great. Plus dinner orders come with a ton of great bread and, often, a nice dessert.

Definitely LOVE the dips at Ethos - extremely flavorful and creamy. Salads are honestly a hit or miss. Depending on who is making your salad order or what time of day, you can get something completely different and feel like you were gipped out of your order since you may pay $8 for 3 cubes of lamb in a salad. Hit or Miss salads are Maroulsalata, Elliniki, and Ethos Salata. Be sure to put in your notes (at the bottom when you are placing your order) that they add enough dressing and feta otherwise they may put too little for your liking. :)

Greek cuisine is one of my favorites, and Ethos does an excellent job of it. The moussaka is excellent, and the portion they serve is quite filling. I especially like their melitzanosalata. They always include warm pita bread and a delicious custard-filled pastry on the side, at no extra charge.

My dinner last night was perfect! I was so happy with my Avgolemono soup, it was a very generous portion! It was healthy, SO TASTY, warm & creamy. My chicken gyro was very lean and tender and my sides were amazing. It was like ya-ya was cooking. You guys are the best, GO GREEK!!!!! Thank you!! Keep up the great cooking - dessert was spot on as well! :)

This has become my go to greek place, great upscale food at reasonable prices and then there's the Gyro... perfectly cooked combination of meat, pita and deliciousness. And so cheap!! It's not even on the menu if you sit down at the restaurant, but that didn't stop me from trying to order one. As far as greek sandwiches go I would put it up against the lamb sandwich at Snack. In fact, Ethos gets the edge since they deliver to me. Also the fish is great, but as you should expect you need to allow some extra time. Ordered here many times, but had a small problem recently and thought I'd update. Gyro great as always, got the hummus (revithosalata) which was good but there was no extra pita that they usually give with it. Kinda made it impossible to eat but it was probably just an oversight. Their standards are usually higher.

I think this restaurant has the best Greek food in the city. It's simple and they keep the flavors pure...The appetizers are large, the mussels are amazing. And try the mixed fish grilled skewers... two can share. Fresh and fast with lots of pita bread to eat on the side. I like how they throw in dessert if you order a lot. It's a nice touch. DO NOT GET THE PRIX FIX DINNER. They don't give you what you order, worst of all is they completely decided to give me a side salad instead of an appetizer. The "dinner" was a one (1) skewer of lamb meat and some spanish (thought this was greek?) rice. Completely wrong dessert order. Unacceptable.

I normally never write reviews but I was so happy with my order from Ethos. I ordered the melitzanosalata for pickup. The staff was extremely nice when I came to pick up my order. I got home and discovered a free dessert (the filo-wrapped custard) in my order, it was DELICIOUS. The eggplant dip was delicious, really garlicky, but amazing. PIta bread was a little cold but not enough to detract from the deliciousness.
