Famous Original Ray's Pizza (2nd Ave)

Very disappointed that we did not get the vegetables and salad that we ordered. If so this would have been a 4 star rating.

Easily one of my favorite pizza places in the area. Delivery isn't too long usually and the pizza always arrive delicious and hot!

Be careful ordering late night. They forgot half my order. When I called back, the guy barely spoke English and simply said (with attitude) 'we're so busy'. He didn't even want to bring my food as he said it was 'too late'. Unbelievable. At least, the delivery guy was nice/apologetic

Wings are really good. Sometimes lacks hot sauce on them and at times could be a little more crispy, but for the price you can't go wrong.

Ordered a pizza late night, it was only about 10 minutes before they stopped accepting orders, but they were still accepting orders, so I expected a fresh pie. When the pie arrived it was over cooked, there were pieces of the crust missing, as if someone had popped the bubbles found on the crust and it was generally inedible. It appeared that it was a pie they had left over and reheated. Could have been because it was late night, but if you are accepting orders and I order a full pie, I expect a new, fresh one otherwise don't accept my order. May have been a bad night but will never order again from here. Pros: Order late night Cons: Inedible/Old Pizza

Delivery times are NOT true. Food comes 60+ minutes without fail and it will be cold. If you like cold pizza and are not in a rush for food, then you should pick this place. They're also not very friendly. There are much better pizza joints on the UES to pick from.

First time ordering delivery from Famous Ray's. Margarita Pizza was cold, under cooked, and fairly tasteless when it arrived . Highly reccomend other UES pizza joints (Gotham, Nina's, Roma, etc.)

unbelievably bad! the pie came and I took a bite and i've never ever complained about delivery but let me tell you that the pizza was so bad, i wouldn't even give it to my dog if i had one. So I called and the guy tells me he is sorry that he will send another. An hour later, i get another sad excuse of a pie. The crust is nasty, tastes like 3 day old bread. The Sauce is dripping all over the place and my kids tell me that they are no longer hungry. I will never ever order from them again. I never had a problem with one on the west side when i lived there.
