Famous Original Ray's Pizza (49th/7th)

Absolutely the WORST rubber like chicken I have ever had from this place - Marsala sauce resembled toilet water and tasted awful - either changed chefs or just had a bad night but in Manhattan, you do NOT get a 2nd chance, sorry Ray, off my list!!!!

Do not recommend it. The entire Pizza pie was spread all over the box. It was salty. Also, the order called for half pepperoni pie and the entire thing was pepperoni.

this place takes forever. don't order here. they were an hour late, and it was not that great. famous original ray's is famous...for being late and not sweet.

It is just intolerable when they promise 15-30 minutes, take an hour, lie to you with "the guy is on the way," and refuse to make any accommodations. As I sit here, over an hour later, I still await my pizza which "left the store" 28 minutes ago.

The pizza and calzone was great but the delivery person got the building wrong and also when he did come to deliver the food, he had a nasty attitude.

This was the worst pizza I have ever had. If there is nothing open and this is the only place that delivers, you will be better off not eating. On a plus side delivery was on time.

Do not order from here...WARNING!!! The food all taste and smell like one of those new agey incense shops that I detest so unless you love eating incense flavored pizza or cannoli or anything....DO NOT order and waste your money.

i've always been a rays fan but it took them 25 minutes past the 50 minutes they said the would deliver in. i had to call to check and the guy just said 10 minutes more... no apologies at all. so an hour and fifteen minutes after i placed my order, the delivery guy, who only had a half block delivery, calls me down from my office to pick it up. he wasn't even there yet. it was after 10pm so there was not many places open but i would not order from here if you're looking for anything timely. stay away from this rays, there's others a block away that are better.
