Fat Sal's Pizza (Avenue A)

Ordered at 3a.m. I received cold and old pizza but that's what I expected, I'm sure they do better with delivery at a different time. Still shouldn't be open if they can't get it right at any given time of the day.

Fat Sal's delivered my food quickly. However, the pizza was soggy and oil with the topping sliding off. This would be passable pizza in the suburbs or in fly over cities, but not in NYC when there are so many other amazing competing pizzerias.

can I choose no stars? no sauce. just ketchup and bread crumbs thrown on the calamari. horrible. They did include salad dressing although no salad was ordered. Very unpredictable. Solo pizza is MUCH better but no calamari. This place just doesnt care

It is unfortunate I need to give Fat Sal's Pizza a bad review because I like the food but on Seamless delivery is just as important. Not only do they often not pay attention to special instructions but last night they didn't call the number I provided and over an hour later I still had the manager arguing with me about the order. The food is good but the aggravation is not worth it.

For the money, these guys make the best buffalo wings I've ever had-- without a doubt. I order buffalo wings from here over places like Wildwood BBQ, Jimmy's BBQ, etc-- on top of that, I've never been disappointed with any salad in terms of quality, freshness, ingredients, size, price, etc-- closest thing to the salads at La Pizzeria. It's a close call. Either way, this place goes beyond just good pizza-- there's more than that, and best of all, their service is ridiculously consistent and reliable (considering this is a late-night place from which to order on Seamless). Always prompt and punctual, always pleasant and polite. I'm almost certain I haven't written a review on seamlessweb.com, despite having ordered on it since late 2008/early 2009-- but Fat Sal's on Avenue A deserves a major thumbs up and I felt it was worth it to write them up a review that reflected the truth on what they do-- reliably so.

Portions are huge! Late night delivery takes a while....mainly cuz i think they make it from scratch. Baked ziti is ok...the rolls and pizza are awesome

Took over an hour to deliver. The wings were the most dry and tasteless I've ever had in my life. The fries were soggy and undercooked. Terrible quality of food, street meat is better than this crap. Would not order again.

I like it but my drink order is messed up every time and apparently they dont do refunds so I am always out a snapple or a diet coke. Delivery guys aren't nice and aren't good.

I order their heroes. Generously sized, nice bread, toasted in the oven. Delivery tends to be on the early side of the estimate and the food always arrives warm, and I'm at some distance from them, so kudos for that.

The yelp reviews for this place weren't so great so I'm glad I trusted the ones on here. I ordered the wings and I agree, they're fantastic and NOT breaded, like good wings should be. Impossible to get unbreaded wings around here outside of Atomic. Also had the best zucchini sticks I've had in the neighborhood, they tasted homemade. Also really good calzone and insanely cheap for the size. A few days later I ordered the spaghetti lunch special with meat sauce, also really good. I'm a fan!
