Fig & Olive III

I have had Fig & Olive delivered previously--over a year ago, and it was really enjoyable. However, something must have changed because my delivery man did not follow or bother to read my delivery instructions/request, so I was subjected to a cat-and-mouse search around my building, looking for my order. Also, there were only three (3) fries in my order. If I am going to pay $13 for a panini and fries--I better have more than three limp fries.

My colleague and I had both dined at Fig & Olive for dinner in the past and enjoyed the food. We were excited when we saw that you could order lunch from seamless web. The lunch takeout experience wasn't as good. The Fig & Olive website had an area to order online, but after going through several cumbersome pages, we got an error message when trying to place our order. Instead, we ordered through Seamelss Web and picked up the food. My Winter FIg & Olive salad was mostly hearts of romaine, there weren't any apples that were in the description, and I only got a couple of figs. For the price for lunch take out, I could have had something much better for a comparable restaurant. My colleague enjoyed her steak panini much better - the steak was prepared to her request and although it was overall smaller than what she was expecting, it was very good. What was disappointing was that it came with either a salad or fries, and when she got the "fries", it was really just TWO thickly sliced potates with seasoning. We couldn't believe they had only put two in the order.

amazing good (chicken paillard salad & salmon andalucia my faves) -- if you order in advance (11am) they are on time for 12/1230pm delivery...

The quality and service are deplorable. In spite of the bad reviews, I figured I would order since I always walk by their location and felt tempted to have lunch there. The so called Panini were two refrigerated slices of bread with the chicken and one slice of ordinary cheese, and tons of lettuce even thought this comes with a side salad. The pudding was watery and warm. All this after waiting over 60 minutes for delivery. This was not worth $20. Pain Quotitien nor far from here has better baguette sandwiches and desserts for less money.

I ordered a salad and when it hadn't arrived an hour later i called and was told it would be leaving shortly. When it hadn't arrived an hour after that (2 hours in total), i called and they said they never received the order. These people are a disaster. To top it all of they charged my credit card for the order, so clearly these people have no idea what they are doing.

Food arrived smashed into a container way too small for the amount of food inside, as well as being soggy and luke warm... completely un appetizing and a rip off for the amount charged... take a pass I my opinion. In fairness, I did not call to complain, I was just too tired to hear any excuses or arguments...
