No question, the value for your money is there every time. Food is delivered hot, on time, and the portions are generous. The special tonight was soft shell crab, served with risotto....delicious. I've also had the "Mamma Mia," rigatoni with veal and sausage in tomato sauce....real comfort food. I've ordered from both of Gigino's restaurants and they pay serious attention to detail! It's really good!

I ordered the esotica salad, sounded good in the description but for $12, everyone in my office agreed that was one VERY SMALL salad and described it as "a rip off". One person asked why was it so expensive, did they grow the lettuce in their own windowsill? Plus, no dressing, even in a packet! Called the manager who was polite BUT she said that (frankly, side-order-sized) salad "was the size we pack it in" AND if I "read the menu clearly it does not list a dressing in the description". I said the customer ASSUMES a dressing would be included because that's what you get in or with a salad. Obviously, if ordered at the trattoria it would've been sent back but over seamless web, she finally offered to "send some dressing". I said "No thanks, forget it--just know that a customer has a real complaint"--because I didn't want to see the poor little salad drown.

Gigino's has great food but simply cannot get its act together with its deliveries. Tonight, for the second time in as many weeks, they lost our order and were dishonest about it--claiming it was "on the way." 20minutes pass-no food. We call again-20minutes on hold and still no food. Worst part is that this is not a one time problem. Same story, different night. Ultimately we waited more than 2 hours and never received our order.

Pizza was soggy and the arugula stale! I ordered a thin crust pizza with arugula, peppers and mozzarella..what I got was a think doughy base with a heap of stale soggy arugala, huge chunks of tomates and peppers and zero flavor! The cheese wasn't even melted! We had to put it in the oven for another 30 minutes! Ugh will NOT be ordering from this place again. Gigino att Wagner Park has much better food.

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT order take out from Giginos. I have ordered from them 3 times and each time they get my order wrong. The first time, they gave me a slab of chicken cutlet and nothing else. The second time they forgot to bring half of my order. Then, the last and final time I will ever order from them, they served me burnt pizza. The only reason I am giving them any stars is because their food is pretty good when you eat at the restaurant and its around the corner from where I live.

Gigino has been a standout delivery place in Tribeca for the past 8 years. I'm not sure if they got a NEW chef, BUT it's become noticeably better over te past month, which is awesome because it was already one of the best delivery places in Tribeca. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND just about every item on their menu, AND their DAILY specials are VERY GOOD! I've been trying 1 or 2 new specialty dishes with every order and have NOT been disappointed yet. Buon Appetito! NB

I order Seamless roughly 4x per week from Tribecca. Gigino is one of the best and most consistent restaurants offered. Specifically, the food is excellent, especially the pastas (which normally would not "deliver well"). Service is also superb - fast, no mistakes, and extras (such as bread) are always included.

Gigino is one of those "consistently reliable neighbourhood restaurants" - not somewhere you'd go out of your way for, but decent enough to go back to regularly. The food here is pretty solid, with not too much fuss and bother. Both the pastas and pizzas are of good quality, although I thought the risotto was a little salty. However, the delivery service is poor. By the time the food got to me, and bearing in mind that it was less than 4 blocks away, the food was cold. And this wasn't mid-winter either. All-in-all. step up on the delivery and you might get a 3rd star.

The Gigino pizza and the Salcaccia Pizza are really great. Delivery is usually quicker than estimated and the food arrives hot.

the delivery guy was really rude. however, someone was nice enough to call me and inquire about the issue to adress the problem. they also informed me that the Gigino Pizza is suppossed to be served cold....which is a delicious pizza.!

This place is excellent--I've ordered from it a number of times and it's always good. The pizza is particularly good. The Gigino Pizza is a salad pizza, which is to say, basically flatbread with a salad on top (there's no sauce or cheese on the crust). It's healthy (for a pizza, at least) and tasty. The pasta is also quite good. The salads can be a bit dry--my one complaint. Also, note that the Margarita pizza isn't what's traditionally considered a Margarita pizza. It's actually just a normal cheese pizza.

Horrible ! Ordered food and after waiting for 1.5 hours I called and asked where the food was and the hostess said it went out.... 20 minutes later no delivery... Called again and they said they lost the original order and it was never actually made.... Don't order
