Giorgio's of Gramercy

I've dined-in at Giorgio's before, which I highly recommend their prix fixe meals. I decided to try out their lunch items, which were fairly good; not as great as their entree/dinner items. I ordered the crab cakes sandwich, which was okay. I ordered for pick-up which is expedient and painless.

Delivery was on time but food was not good. Got a tuna melt - I did a general search in seamless for it, only chose places with 5 stars, and this was one of the top choices for tuna melt. Not good. Cookies bad too. Salad was decent.

I have ordered from here at least 5 times in the past month. Solid italian food, fresh bread, and reasonable prices. Its freshly baked bread each time, whats better then that?

Delicious! I was nervous about ordering seafood for delivery but the cappelini was amazing. Perfect amount of spice to the sauce and the calamari/shrimp were tender. I hope to visit in person next time.

Absolutley horrible roast beef sandwich... dry and tasteless. Maybe one of the worst sanwiches we have ever had. Do not order! Love the restaurant, so we were terribly dissapointed.

I would give this negative stars if I had an option. I am not picky, but my God - - that is $17 I may as well have flushed down the toilet. The food took over and hour, was cold, and tasted terrible. Worst of all, in my opinion, was that each description I read about the food I was ordering was not accurate. AVOID!

The "Buffalo" wings were well-cooked, but only 6 small ones per order. They were dry/slightly breaded, with no trace of wing sauce or spiciness at all. None. Just small, breaded, fried wings with bleu cheese and no celery/carrots.

Mixed Review - Food took 1hour to arrive on a Sunday night, not good. (maybe some snow/ice on the ground affected that) The salmon with spinach & mashed potatoes was very good. I recommend highly. The wings were so so. Reaonable price but they were very small and weren't buffalo like the menu said. Just tiny fried chicken wings. All in all worth giving Georgio's a second chance.

I was very nicely surprised by this place. For the price, this is probably one of the best options in Italian cuisine in the area. Ingredients are fresh, and delivery prompt. Recommended.

very basic chicken sandwich, I mean VERY basic. Deli sliced chicken, a piece of lettuce, one tomato slice, 2 strips of bacon and some slapped on mayo between two slices of fresh wheat bread. Reminds me of the sandwiches mom made for lunch. nothing fancy. subpar food. okay.
