A great thin crust pie. The only place I've come across on the upper east that uses all fresh ingredients. That means yeast-filled dough that rises in the oven, a sauce that's not too sweet or too salty, and globs of fresh mozzarella that melts across the pie. The other dishes are average at best, so I would stick the pizza. And the gelato.

Lucky they are getting one star. Ordered a panini. Came with the wrong cheese and it wasnt even pressed and hot. It was ice cold. They said they didnt even have a panini press. The food was inedible and disgusting.

Came very quickly so that's a plus. The pizza itself was not great. It was undercooked. The pepperoni did not seem cooked at all. There was so much sauce that the pizza was wet. I also ordered a Cobb salad with vinaigrette dressing. The dressing was merely olive oil with some dried herbs. It was disgusting. There was no flavor at all - it tasted just like plain olive oil. They also forgot the avocado on my salad, which was a huge disappointment.

I think Golosi is fresh and delicious. Love something as simple as the margarita pizza--the fresh tomatoes make it a cut above the usual pizzaria fare. Warm service makes this a great neighborhood spot, and the gelato and tiramiu are excellent..

The margherita pizza is simply the best! They're also very considerate (called me once to see which type of gelato I would prefer), and they are speedy with deliveries!
