It's all delicious, but if you like spicy food the best are the authentic Sichuan dishes. Anything starting with Chong Qing or Gui Zhou is guaranteed to be good. 30-45min? It's almost always there in half that.

Best Chinese on the UWS--particularly if you like spicy Sichuan food. The Ma Po is particularly excellent. Delivery always prompt. Highly recommend!

It's hard to find spicy chinese on the uws. Grand Sichuan isn't as good as chinatown or the places in midtown, including the same named places in that area. However, it's fast and it's as spicy as you'll find uws. The fish, which usually isn't a good delivery choice, is great and I'm a big fan of the pork and spicy green pepper soup. But don't order standard chinese from here. They don't do that very well.

I have never written an online review before but felt that this place needed to be defended. I am baffled as to why this place has only gotten an average of two stars from five people. I have ordered from here four times and have been pleased with each order. Their Sichuan selections are pretty authentic and I find that everything I've ordered is a cut above the rest of the Chinese places in the area. Next time, don't get the General Tso's Tofu, get the Mapo Tofu and Chongqing Fish Filet and you won't be disappointed. Oh, and to the person who was complaining about the egg roll, the one I just had was bone dry and perfectly crisp. It was actually had the least amount of grease of any egg roll I've ever had.

Previous reviews clearly crazy or just ordered American Chinese. The Gui Zhou chicken changed my friend's life, and the Sichuan tofu is amazing. If you order General Tso's anything, you deserve what you get. Order real Sichuan dishes here. Eat happy.

The braised beef fillet w/ chili sauce is quite authentically done. Not as tender as it should be (could be due to delivery), but all in all quite satisfactory.

The food was awesome! I'm officially obsessed with the Dan Dan Noodles. And the green beans were amazing. I will definitely be ordering from them often.

egg drop soup is in-edible, chicken is not high quality, order was incorrect (got white rice vs. brown)

The house spicy beef noodle soup is worth the order on its own - a perfect combination of flavor and heat. I ordered the Gui Zhou chicken and asked for extra hot -- you get what you ask for, as it came drenched in peppers! I may have been sweating during the meal, but it was delicious!

Kung Bao chicken (ordered spicy) was one of the best I've had in my life: had the correct peppercorn/taste explosion/spicy feel. I'd expected more scallions, slightly different veg mix, but the overall dish was so dead-on that I defer to the chef.

Love it! Love the fact that you can customize how much heat you want in your food and they're very quick with the delivery.

Wow. Epically bad. Especially by chinese take out standards. And you know those are low. This food was terrible.

I have been waiting for over 1 hour and still no food. just called them and I guess the delivery guy decided if he can't find the big brown building at the corner that must mean there is no such address?! I hope the food is worth waiting for...!
