I'm so puzzled by the negative reviews for this restaurant. Every time I order from them not only do they come within the delivery time slot but the food is always spot on. Ok, so we all know that this is not 5 star restaurant but for diner food it's pretty good and fast. I can't say a negative thing about them, they always come through and food is alway hot and tasty. I order from them at least 1 a week. Remember people we live NYC so even diner food can be a bit more expensive than other cities.

The restaurant confirmed a 15-30 minute delivery. after an hour I called and was rudely told my order was not prepared because they were busy. I asked how much longer it would take and was told they weren't sure, maybe an hour. i ordered a hamburger and a soup. The owner was arrogant and acted like an ass on the phone.

Quickest delivery around. Have never had a problem with their delivery or services. I would recommend the veggie wraps... yum. We order at least once a week from Green Kitchen

Slightly on the expensive side. Portion tends to be larger than average, but still slightly overpriced IMO. I am usually happy with this restaurant's food, just one time, toast that came with a breakfast omelet tasted like rubbery, similar to the taste you get when you have bread frozen and toast it in an oven without pre-heating the oven.

took over twice the time they said it would and the food is almost inedible. The french fries have obviously been sitting - the worst part I live 2 blocks from the restaurant but wasn't able to go pick it up. think twice about ordering from here during busy times (evenings/weekends)

Quality of Green Kitchens delivery food has been deteriorating over the last year. They can't make a medium rare burger, they slop food into crowded containers, the fries are reliably old and nasty, the tomatoes are mushy and flavorless and delivery takes far too long. They're three blocks away an lunch took an hour today. I'm done with GC.

It seems the prices have been raised yet again. I'm going to have to look elsewhere. This place used to be consistently very good, both in person and for delivery, as well as reasonably priced. But it's been a few months now and there is no denying the dip in quality and care from the restaurant. The food is sometimes undercooked and sometimes you just get the feeling they have regressed into being a joint just looking for customer turnover. Additionally, the prices have recently been raised, AND they have added an outgoing plate charge. It's come to the point where it's time to seek other options. The food just isn't good enough to warrant the higher prices.

I love Green Kitchen for good, clean diner food. They are open 24 hours so are a great place to order from late at night. The food always arrives quickly and is hot. My favorites are diner classics like a reuben sandwich, chick souvlaki platter, and a BLT with fries. They also have great fresh salads if you are trying to be a bit healthier.

Great diner. I've eaten at the restaurant, but today was my first time for delivery. They were unbelievably fast- 10-15 minutes and I live 5 avenues and 3 blocks away!

My girlfriend and I have ordered from a few places on Seamless, and we always go back to the Green Kitchen. We love practically everything on the menu!! Our favorites are the penne pasta and the veal parm. Definitely a keeper!!

Green Kitchen is great for delivery - very quick service and the food is reliably delicious. I recommend them as a sit-down place, too - the nicest staff and the very best cheesecake in the city!

Green Kitchen delivers consistent diner food, nothing spectacular but exactly what you are looking for - be it late night comfort food or something heavy to soak up all the reminders of the previous night's activities. They are open 24 hours and the delivery is usually very fast.

Green Kitchen used to be our favorite restaurant to order from. That was until customer service was unbelievably rude! Do not ask the guy answering phones anything if you don't want to get in an argument! They forgot two of our beverages for one order, I called, and the guy said, "You really want me to make the deliver guy go all the way back for drinks!" Ridiculous. Then, there was a misunderstanding about a delivery address, our fault, but when I tried to clear it up with the guy, he responded in a pissed off tone, "When were you going to tell me about it?!" Just snapping at everything, unprofessional, enough so, that we are never going to order from here again, it's just not worth it!

The matzoh ball soup and Churascos were really good and tasty, and the portions were very decently sized. Even though the restaurant was short-staffed, they made a very quick delivery. Based on this experience I will definitely be ordering from here again!
