Guantanamera

Just ordered from Guantanamera for the first time online and the delivery came within 15 minutes. Incredibily fast service and the paella was amazing! I ususally go to the restaurant for lunch - awesome food, pleasant surroundings...Thank you Guantanamera!

Over an hour and half late for scheduled delivery time. When someone finally picked up the phone he yelled at ME for even calling, saying my order went out already. Funny, he never even asked my name or what my order was. Half an hour later it still hasn't shown up...

Im from the west coast so this is good. Ive had better in NY but I still would order from here again. Got the Vaca Frita and sweet plantains, super fast delivery too!!!

the lady who picks up the phone (when delivery time goes over by almost an hour) is extremely rude (anita? ana?). she puts you on "hold" and keeps hanging up when you call back. sad, as the food is delicious. i'll see how the order goes this time and maybe change my review if things improve.

Just love this place. Never had a bad meal, and we tried many items on the menu. Always fast and fresh. Granted we lived a block away and now that we moved wish they delivered up to the 90s.

Wel, it's nothing like mama used to make that's for sure? I grew up eating Cuban food and it was a bit disappointing. First of all, since when do Papa Rellenas have cheese in them?!?!? Being my all time favorite, I have eaten alot of them and i can tell you that cheese does not belong in them. They also came with some weird red sauce (not sure if it was supposed to be hot sauce or tomato sauce) Not very authentic. The Moros (black beans and rice) were super salty. The rice pudding was not my favorite but palatable. Also my order food took an hour to arrive. Overall not a good experience.

I ordered the following: Ropa Vieja for $16.00 Sopa De Pollo Criolla $6.00 Both tasted good and delivery was quick, however the Ropa Vieja did not come with rice or tortillas. I received half a dish of shredded skirt steak (which I will admit was very tasty) and a side of beans (which were also good). I would not order takeout from this restaurant again, but I would likely give it another try at the restaurant where I could have a little more control over what I was served and the portions.

While the food tasted fine albeit a little salty, I have to take issue with the price for the portions. The empanadas with picadillo were tiny and at 2 for $7.00, not worth a repeat order. The Masitas de Puerco El Cochinto was tasty as was the Congri. I understand this is Midtown but seriously for $18.00, I expected a bit more.

Normally I avoid ordering seafood as take-out, but after reading the reviews decided to try the seafood paella. Outstanding! I'm thoroughly enjoying it; it tastes amazing! Highly reccomended.

This place is great! Love the empanadas and the chorizo... and delivery was spot on - 25minutes from teh time they received my order.
