Hakata Grill

Service and follow through was good but food was not exceptional. The beef in the Hakata grilled steak was questionable.

I am not very fond of sushi - so I picked this place for good old noodles, fried rice and grilled fish dishes. And this place have the best for Asian cuisine -- very authentic taste and the servings are great. I give them 5 Star.

I usually love Hakata and get one of the sushi or fish dishes... but today, we all ordered fish dishes and they were all dry... sadly.

Hakata was good, but it was slightly pricey for the Ramen Stir Fry that I ordered. That said, it is better than the other ramen-serving restaurants in the area, which is probably why it has stayed in business (despite its very secretive location) while the prominent restaurants across the street have gone out of business. I enjoyed the food and will try it again when I have another ramen craving!

I've ordered from Hakata multiple times, and in the area, it's my favorite for traditional sushi. The pieces of fish are fresh and cut properly in the traditional way, and the ratio of fish to rice is favorable. The sushi lunch specials are good although offerings are pretty slim, but plus is that they offer 3 sides of vegetables of your choice. I like the maki lunch box and would recommend to other people if you like spicy tuna and spicy salmon.

Compltetely messed up the order... grilled chicken salad was simply green salad; shrimp dish was chicken strips; salad dressing was wrong. Very disappointing.

Hakata is the worst. they accepted my seamless order at 2:35, never delivered my food and never answered their phone. i did not find their location at 52/2nd or 53rd/3rd. i did not get my lunch and was told they close at 3pm from seamless web support. needless to say, i am pissed off. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. THEY SUCK.

Quality has dropped off a bit recently. What happened? Tuna doesn't look as good as usual and this is the 2nd time in a row that I've gotten avocado that isn't quite ripe. Hakata used to be a staple.

Ordered miso glazed salmon which was okay. It was served with Japanese pumpkin which was ice cold--half of it was literally still frozen!! The grilled asparagus was cold as well. I had the impression that the food was not fresh. Delivery service was okay, nothing to complain about.

I really like hakata i would recomment it to all my friends.my platter was nice and the platter was in a nice design.my food was alos deliver fast.The crispy tuna rolls were nice and didnt fall apart even with the sushi rice.thanks hakata for the great food.

Hakata is hit or miss...we've ordered from them several times. Somtimes its amazing and other times just mediocre. It's definitely the best sushi delivery we've had in the area. The spicy tuna hand rolls are always great and the kimchi is fantastic. Just stick to the basics and you should be pleased!

Wonderful Japanese, nothing adventurous. Grilled fish and negimaki are always dependable favorites for me. They've recently added little grilled yakitori skewers; haven't tried them yet, but they look tasty. Also a fun selection of Japanese snacks available (Pocky, anybody?)
