Halal J.F.K Fried Chicken & Pizza

I ordered chicken tenders from them. It came 30 minutes later than it was supposed to and the chicken tenders were almost completely raw inside.

JFK is basically a fast food chicken place, so I think you need to manage your expectations going in—but that said, I really like this place for what it is. The delivery is always speedy, the service is courteous and the chicken has always been hot/crispy. I once received one chicken leg as part of a larger order that seemed like it'd been sitting around for a bit (it was kind of dry & not as hot as the other pieces), but every other piece of chicken they've delivered has been awesome. Also, they seem to correct problems quickly--once instead of the 2 thighs & 2 breasts we'd ordered they only sent 1 thigh & 1 breast, but when I called they sent someone back with the additional chicken within 15 minutes. As for the sides, I really like the coleslaw and potato wedges but I'd say skip the mashed potatoes ... they're EXTREMELY salty, covered in weird brown gravy and seem like they've been sitting around in their little styrofoam cup for too long.

The food was a little late than what it says (took 45 min when it said 25-30 min) I ordered chicken wings with fries. The fries were the skinny type and were all soggy (they just HAD to be soaked in oil, not fried) Chicken wings were ridiculously salty, and made every other food that I had in the next few days extremely salty or sweet or whatever. I am not ordering again.

Very disappointed. It took an 1 hour and 30 mins to get my food. Plus they forgot the fries we ordered and they even gave me the wrong soda. The food was not worth the wait either, it was so salty, especially the hot wings. The only seasoning was salt.

The pizza is awesome and the burgers and fries are tasty but I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 because: 1. the beef patties are ridiculously thin, so thin that they are actually funny to look at. 2) they got both burger orders completely wrong. They forgot the bacon and cheddar on the bacon cheddar cheese burger...

When you order delivery food you are really paying for two things: food and service. The food was 4 stars. The ten piece chicken deal is great. Just go to pick it up. The service was terrible. The only downside of tipping a guy in advance through seamlessweb was he had no incentive to give good service. My building is not hard to navigate but he called me from down stairs and told me he wasn't coming up because he had other deliveries to do. So you aren't delivering my food which is your job. Then when I went down there, he asks me to sign something and doesn't even have a pen. Laziest, most ineffective delivery guy to date.

I live right around the corner and somehow it still took over 45 minutes to get here. He wouldn't even come to my apartment, I had to go down to get the food. And the wings are basically just fried chicken. No sauce. The side of cheese potatoes is about 4 tablespoons and it is mostly nacho cheese. I will not order from here ever again.

Exactly what we were looking for. Wings were unsauced, but quite spicy and not the wimpy wings often found elsewhere (and there were tons of drumsticks). Potato logs are crispy and tasty. Corn nuggets were sweet and juicy. Chicken dinner had three large pieces, the cole slaw was cold and fresh and while the mashed potatoes were the super-creamy powdered kind, the peppery gravy made them great. Delivery was fast. Will order again.

The delivery guy showed up with no ID. My food order was not only wrong, it was missing items. I do not recommend this place AT ALL.

Such a great place. Food is always consistent. They arrive quickly and with everything I ordered. Have not experienced a mistake once and I order from here A LOT. Get calls immediately if they are out of something. They try to accommodate the inconvenience the best they can, which I appreciate. Overall, fantastic service and great food!
