You can call me a regular at Hale and Hearty, it's definitely my go to lunch spot. Sure I average $10 for my small soup and salad, but I enjoy it and it feels somewhat healthy. Salads: Their ingredients always taste and look fresh and because of the crowds nothing seems to sit there for very long. I love the fact that you can get your salad chopped. I think this is one of the best inventions for salad, because I love the option; I really do. Soups: I've tried many of the soups and don't think I've found a bad one. My favorites are: Green and Yellow Split Pea: so silky and rich without the use of cream. Black Lentil with Turkey; full of flavor and oh so hearty. I have to give mentions to the New England Clam Chowder, Tomato Florentine and Wild Mushroom Lentil - all delicious! Sandwiches: I've only gotten a sandwich a couple of times, this is where I was disappointed. Because they are all pre-made, the bread tends to be soggy, so stick to the soups and salad. Staff: Always friendly and boy do they hustle. Delivery sometimes takes awhile. So finally after hundreds of visits and orders (sadly this is probably true) this is why I go to H&H again and again....and again!

This place provides my staple lunch. I get the soup and half sandwich combo multiple times a week. Deliveries are fast considering the lunch hour rush, and the soups are always delicious. My favorite sandwich so far is the grilled chicken caesar - it's very flavorful with a little kick. My favorite soups there are the clam chowder and the cream of tomato with chicken and orzo. SO GOOD!

The wait took FOREVER!!!! The site said 60-75 minutes. My order came almost exactly 2 hrs after I ordered and I simply orders a soup/sandwich combo! I also only work a handful of blocks away. I understand lunch time is busy but really... 2 hours!!! Never ordering from there again.

Food was so late I had to cancel the order. Dressing was missing from my salad. I tried to call their number for help and it was busy, then I got hung up on. Not worth the time or trouble.

HORRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE I ordered a salad online from seamlessweb- an hour later it still wasnt here so i called and they said they were busy and it will go out in 10-15 minutes. 15 minutes later my coworker got an order that she placed 30 minutes after me so i called back and they said oh its on its way- it has almost been 2 hours and i still havent gotten my food- and they are about 3 blocks away from my office.
