Harriet's Kitchen

On the first day Harriet's Kitchen was on Seamless, I ordered a lunch special with the soup and salad. The chili was fine, but the mashed potatoes were not good, and the cobb salad was terrible! I don't recommend this restaurant.

We order from Harriet's at least twice a week. She makes the best chicken pot pies! Also like the Lemon Chicken with Linguine and DH loves her burgers and dark meat chicken meal. Never been disappointed.

Delivery man rude-- didn't say a word, just handed me bag and left. I included a $3 tip in the online order-- perhaps Harriet's didn't give it to him? Also, they charged for but did not deliver a side of gravy, and I asked for but they did not deliver utensils. These are small things, but when added up put a damper on the whole ordering experience. If every other place in the city gets these basics right, why should I order from Harriets again?

Ordered 2 cokes and got 1, fish was over cooked, no napkins or silverware. Sorry Harriet, I won't be ordering again.

This place was bad the first time I ordered and I honestly don't know why I gave it a second shot. Dry, tasteless burger, mashed potatoes that were soooo salty (and frankly just weird tasting) that I couldn't even finish them despite that being my favorite food, and house salad was about 6 limp leaves at 5 bucks.

This place started out pretty good for what it's supposed to be, but the last couple times, this evening being the last time I order from them has been awful, not only NOT receiving a confirmation email to the order never being as requested, no Lettuce or Tomato with sandwich as described on menue, not putting things like Mayonaise on side etc.....the quality has gone down too, this will be the last time I order from them. Seamless seems to be going down in service as well......might be giving Grub Hub another try next time I get delivery, or better yet, call the restaurant directly.....

Absolutely comic multiple phone calls from the place, questioning the order submitted. When it arrived, the food was indifferent to dismal. So bad we couldn't eat it and had to order elsewhere to cope with our hunger. A must-avoid.

The food is great but the delivery stinks. They take forever and they usually mess up the order and are not very helpful when I call on the phone.

I used to love this place but service has really gone downhill. There is a girl who sometimes answers the phone and she is very rude. Last time I ordered through seamless, they didn't have a diet peach snapple and replaced it with a regular diet snapple. This has happened before and it's not a big deal; the other times, the person just called me and politely informed me that they ran out so we could figure out a way to change my order. This time, they just sent the regular diet snapple without bothering to call. When I called to let them know that unfortunately I was not able to accept the replacement (regular diet snapple makes me physically ill, no joke), the girl was rude and lied to me, telling me they didn't have my number... blatant lie since it's the same account and they have always called me before. She was very rude and finally agreed to send a bottle of water as replacement, which is worth less than the money I paid for the original drink. I'm sorry, the food is good but not good enough to overlook the bad service.

My favorite burger and appetizers on the UWS. Excellent burgers with a nice smoky char. Fried mozzarella is the best. Fast delivery and it always arrives hot.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. The person that answers the phone hung up on me . I was trying to ask a couple questions regarding my order and he hung up on me not once but twice. The food was sub-par but the service leaves a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended)! Horrible service and sub par food makes for a bad review.
