Haru - Sake Bar

Sushi came very quickly but that was the highlight. The sushi rice was over cooked and extremely sticky there was a pound of rice on each roll. I will not re-order from Haru Sake Bar - Beware of the high cost and poor form. One hopes the manager changes the rice tonight and teaches the sushi chef's how to roll proper sushi.

Haru has never disappointed me! I usually get California rolls, which taste amazing (and are way better than super market fake-o sushi). However, this time I decided to get the Chicken Teriyaki Lunch Box. The chicken teriyaki was equally as scrumptious as when I had it in Japan! The California rolls, as I stated before, were superb. Somehow, Haru manages to cook the brocoli to perfection, and with the addition of teriyaki sauce, it is mouth watering beyond belief. It also comes with rock shrimp kakiage, which was something new to me but was highly enjoyable. You should get this food like I do, at least twice in any one week of school vacation!

the problem with Haru that it is good when you go to their actual restaurant, but when you order it online it takes forever! Even though it says 30-45 minutes, it takes about an hour and the food is soggy and cold by the time you get it.....a shame b/c it is quite good. customer service is very good as they have occasionally forgotten something in my order and have immediately re-delivered it and have been very helpful on the phone.

What happened to Haru? It has always been expensive but it used to actually have fresh fish. Now the fish is rotten my crab roll was so fishy that I had to spit it out. Very disappointed with Haru these days I will never order from them again.

Haru has the best sushi delivery around. Love the fact that they allow you to make rolls with brown rice and the tempura roll sauce is the perfect antidote to usual soy dipping sauce. Fish is fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.

I have always loved Haru and ordered from them many times but this time was bad all around. They messed up my roll, my boyfriend's food was cold and literally turned upside down with sauce leaking everywhere and the delivery took almost an hour and a half. Super disappointed.

Usually Haru's food is excellent. This order was awful. The hot items arrived cold. They forgot the wasabi for the hand rolls and the rolls were falling apart. Very disappointing.

Slowest delivery EVER. I ordered almost 2 hours ago. Restaurant said it was with the delivery man 30 minutes ago. Assuming that's true, I'm really excited for my cold food....

They take over an hour to deliver the food. If you're hungry. Be prepared to wait up to an hour and a half. And be prepared to have to call them and remind them and coax them to deliver your food. When you're hungry, these things matter. And I actually ordered on Monday night. So no excuses.
