Haru (Amsterdam)

Excellent Japanese cuisine - definitely go for the bento boxes - most bang for your buck, and you get a free drink (diet coke, bottle of water, etc.) Haru is impeccably clean and the delivery is always fast.

My entree $20 arrived, without the salad meant to come with it. When I called, they offered me a $2.50 credit, or a 30 minute wait (very rudely) - I cannot stand restaurants that don't reliably send the sides to go with a meal. I ordered from Haru largely because I like their house salad.

Don't bother with the overpriced takeout. I've eaten in the restaurant many times and it's much better. The food was poorly packaged, and delivered. The bento box was delivered to me being held vertically and was a big mess. They are skimpy with the sushi pieces and the other food (chicken teriyaki, tempura, edamame) was soggy. I feel it was very overpriced.

Always fresh and delicious sushi. I usually pick up so not sure how they rate on delivery time, but by far one of my favorite sushi spots.

Excellent sushi, always fresh even on delivery. Rock Shrimp Tempura are always crispy - kind of like asian shrimp hot wings. Kamikaze roll is a must for spicy tuna fans. Crab dumplings are out of this world good.

The sushi is very good and very fresh. The prices are fair and the delivery is quick. Definitely better than most UWS sushi restaurants.

Very good sushi at decent prices. Roll combos are good and an easy way to order. We have had several problems with their delivery, so though the sushi is good, not sure if it is worth the hassle.

I ordered the Vegetable Tempura and Rock Shrimp Avocado rolls. Both were great! Not only that, but they got to my place 25 minutes after I placed the order, instead of the 30-45 minutes predicted. They politely called to apologize that they were out of brown rice, but this is understandable because I ordered at 10:45pm.
