For some reason, Haru has taken away the option to order a side of spicy mayo with your sushi! This significantly effects the quality of your meal from Haru, as the spicy mayo significantly enhances the taste of the majority of their rolls. Very disappointing. This problem is made worse by the fact that they disregard any comments on your order asking them to include a side of spicy mayo.

Outside of Hong Kong and Chicago, Haru has the best sushi available. Prices are steep, but worth it. The fish melts in your mouth. Given a choice, I prefer to dine in than delivery, but it can get noisy when really busy and you definitely want to make a reservation. I've never had anything other than sushi, so I cannot comment on the rest of their menu, except their mochi, which is quite good as well. You won't go wrong with any of their sushi dishes (or individual pieces.) Note: If you want any of their special sushi rolls from their dine in menu, you can request them via phone or as a substitute for an equally priced roll via SeamlessWeb.

the avocado in my avocado rolls was inedible -- I threw the entire thing out. Not what I expect from Haru. (Everything else was fine)

Besides sitting at home and wondering how close to 2 hour delivery would affect my food (was it made a long time ago and now is sitting somewhere warm and getting all nasty?) it was a totally pleasant experience. The lady on the phone apologized for the delay. The delivery guy was apologetic. But most importantly the food - it was DELICIOUS! Freshest, highest quality fish, perfectly cooked rice, wonderful and well-balanced spicy tuna/ avocado roll. Satisfied all my cravings for high quality fresh sushi dinner.

I was informed an hour after i ordered that the item was not available. Also, the lady who answerd the phone insisted that i pay through my personal credit card if i wanted to adjust, even though this was a corporate order. When i said i could not do so, she asked me to cancel and said they will process the cancellation overnight. Rude!

The salmon avocado roll I ordered was made with the chopped up meat rather than slice of sushi salmon. I am a regular customer but this was disappointing.

Do not get the hamachi here. I ordered two pieces - one had a bone and the other had gone so bad that I had to spit it out.
