This was some of the best General Tao's chicken I've had in a really long time. I will definitely be ordering from Homes Kitchen again!

I order from Homes Kitchen at least 1-4 times a week. I love the pork pan-fried dumplings, the minced chicken in lettuce cups with pine nuts, black bean chow fun, beef with broccoli -- I really eat here all the time and have nothing but kind words for this restaurant. They give you amazing flexibly and have something for everyone.

Sadly (and improbably,) there is no great Chinese restaurant in the area. I'm not even sure how it's possible to be surrounded by so much mediocre Chinese food in NYC. Homes Kitchen is probably one of the better ones around here. Surprisingly, if you stick to the more authentic dishes, the quality of food is better. Some people have complained about delivery but I've never had a problem.

Best delivery service I have encountered in the city! Arrived early, hot (like, right out of the kitchen), the order was complete and inexpensive. This place is a keeper. 6 stars!

Really good sesame chicken - it's very crispy and flavorful. Also, when you order soups, it seems like the little crunchy things they give you are home made, and they're very good. I'm reserving a star just because I haven't had all that much from their menu yet.

When I received my delivery confirmation it was almost double the wait time listed on the website so I called to cancel rather than wait 55-70 minutes for dinner on Sunday night. After Homes accepted the cancellation, the hostess called me back to say the delivery had already left the restaurant and was en route. I said fine, and let the order stand. After 30 minutes of waiting I called back to inquire about my delivery and was told that, "All seamless orders have been sent out!!" I started to explain the situation and was hung up on. My food did eventually arrive, 1hr 40mins later. The service was terrible, and I was clearly misdirected about the status of my order to keep me from cancelling, a REALLY bad way to do business. I won't be ordering here again.

After moving to a new neighborhood I've been making my way through the local cuisine. Homes presented a number of menu options making it one of my first choices for an order in meal. I ordered up a plate of General Tso's (my go to, and my Chinese barometer) and was pleasantly surprised to be eating 15 minutes later. The food was pretty good, nothing amazing but well worth middle-of-the-road price. Huge portion and good enough quality to order again.

Decent chinese food. Great crystal shrimp dumplings with delicious dipping sauce. Good miso. I ordered the steamed shrimp and broccoli with garlic sauce on the side. The shrimp comes small but the garlic sauce was good and has a good bite to it.

I ordered Noodle Soup. I selected Lo Mein Noodles, Broccoli and no meat. I got a quart size container of Spinach and Pint of luke warm broth. The noodles were burned. Disappointing.

Just ordered the stir fried chicken with roast chile. Incredibly dried out. Tasted like it was re-heated from three days ago. Over priced and bad. Will not be returning.
