I never knew that my mouth could tingle so badly and literally lose the ability to taste until I had hot kitchen's mao po tofu. I had to literally run the food under water and rinse it 4 times (that's how hungry I was) to even palate it. I tried to wash it down a bit with the wonton soup but it tastes like scummy water. Truly a disaster. I'm not sure exactly how or why they managed to serve something so horrendous. I mean... Food of any type shouldn't be that unpleasant. Hot kitchen, it's like you've went out of the way to sabotage your own food... One star for the rude delivery guy who came in 10 minutes.

Shredded Chicken with Cilantro was delicious. Sliced conch with peppery sauce was very good. Egg Drop Soup and Wonton Soup were fine. Fast service and arrived hot. Will try again for sure.

beijing style eggplant and soup dumplings are my favorite. Don't waste money on american chinese here it's bad... probably because they don't care about making that crappy style. The rest of the menu is great. I would avoid the soups or anything that comes in a heavy sauce because they don't deliver well and are really heavy and greasy. I'd recommend eating at this place too. they clientele is like almost exclusively chinese which is always a good sign!

Was sent the wrong order, and was not offered a refund nor an exchange, only a "we're very busy right now". Seriously? will not be ordering from this place again.

Probably my favorite Chinese restaurant on Seamless. Everything I've tried has been excellent, with very traditional and superb flavors all-around. If you're a fan of spicy food, I recommend the Village Spicy Chicken entree; their dumplings and dim-sum items are also excellent. Even their "American Chinese Food" menu section is quality above most of the "generic" chinese restaurants around, at the same prices. Though the prices on full dinner orders may seem high, the portions are enormous (one order of the Village Spicy Chicken lasted me four meals with the included rice).

delivery was on time, cold noodles were spicy and delicious, chicken with back bean sauce was mediocre at best, the broccoli in garlic sauce was really gross with a weird aftertaste. will try again because the american dishes were bad, but the chinese one was really good.

I love this place! Dining in is better than take out, but the pork soup dumplings, sauteed eggplant, fish in chili sauce are not to be missed!

I ordered the pork soup dumplings and the green beans. The soup dumplings were just ok, and I think the pork was bordering on bad. The green beans were good but not good enough to ever order from here again.

A bit overpriced. The American Chinese portion of he menu is completely flavorless. The dim-sum is good. The rest of the menu is hit or miss, just not as good as the food in china town.
