Hotel Tortuga

Just had Hotel Tortuga for the first time. The order came quickly (20 min or so) and was very good. The portions were large, but for $13, they should be.

I love the food at Hotel Tortuga, but this time the order was late, lukewarm and missing items. I tried to call the restaurant several times, there was no answer and after a few rings it made fax machine noises.

My order was a bit late, but when I called the person who answered was sincerely apologetic and gave me a detailed update as to where my food was. They even put a smiley face note in my bag. Food was great and the service made it even better.

Food is always good. Excellent beans and rice. We order once or twice a week from this place because it is the only place the family consistently likes. In the past, delivery has been slow or missing dishes but it is much improved. Yeah!

Great staple, everything seems fresh, and so many veggie options! I've never had a problem with delivery times, either. I really dig this place. Plus I think the guacamole actually has avocado in it, which is a heartbreaking rarity for fast Mexican in this city.

I LOVE this restaurant so much. i order from here all of the time but tonight I am VERY DISAPPOINTED. I always order the Green Tortuga..my favorite thing on the menu. Tonight, I ordered it and... the hominy was HARD, there were no BROCCOLI, SPINACH, or PORTABELLAS in my dish which are always my favorite part. I AM SO DISAPOINTED in the whole experience. I always reccommend friends and order weekly as well as dine in weekly. I;m not taking my chances anymore.

I've been waiting for 2 hours. I called twice and both times the obnoxious lady wouldn't take my seamless order number to check if the delivery guy had it. If it were a busy night and I lived far away, I would understand, but I live 5 blocks away and it's a Wednesday.

Our 2 recent orders came in 90 and 110 minutes late respectively while delivery estimates were 30-45 minutes. We live less than 10 blocks away. The food is decent but just not worth the wait. This was the last time we ordered from them.

Food is great...if you plan on getting it delivered it will be at least 1.5 hours. There have been multiple times when it has taken over an hour, 60% of the time is a fare est. I think this will be my last order.

Placed my order 85 minutes ago (with an expected delivery time of 30-45 minutes). and it JUST arrived. While the food is decent, it's nothing special and certainly not worth the long wait.

Food is great, and they give huge portions. But every time I order it takes atleast 45 mins to an hour..... and every time I call and they have a different excuse but it happens every time.
