We were referred to Hunan Manor by a distinguished qi gong master who told us the food was the closest in all of NYC to what he remembered from home. We have since ordered take-out or delivery from Hunan Manor (which has an "A" sanitation rating, by the way, contrary to another reviewer's prior post) more than a half-dozen times, and we have never been disappointed. A few standout dishes: dan dan noodles; long beans w/ eggplant; and mixed vegetables

First time delivery was on time and promising . Tried unusual dishes like Wood Ear in Vinegar Sauce. Since I'm Cantonese, I ordered "Hot & Spicy" instead of very H&S dishes but tried to keep it authentic. Dried Bean Curd with Sautéed Preserved Pork (like French lardon bacon) hit the spot and satisfied my "soul food" craving. Tea Smoked Duck portion was skimpy for the price. Also had Fried Rice Hunan Style which was okay and vegetable lo mein which was good. I will order from them again and try other Preserved Pork dishes . Glad to have another "Uptown Chinese" option when I don't have time to go to Chinatown .

Best Chinese food I've found in Manhattan. The Hunan Chicken and Spicy Shrimp are so good and the fish and the veggies always taste fresh.

The pan fried dumplings were delicious. The Hot and sour soup was the best I have had. Has a good kick to it but not too hot. The Beef and Brocolli was tender, tasty, and cooked to perfection. I will definitely order again. 25 minutes from order to delivery. All food was hot.

Would give zero stars if seamless allowed. Absolutely terrible. Ordered took over an hour to be delivered (I live around the block). Soup dumplings had no soup in them. Chicken in the chicken and string beans was rubbery and undercooked, basically inedible, possibly the worst and lowest quality I have ever had in NYC. Seamless, kick em off!

Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings are average, but good portion and taste for the price. Lunch Special is very delicious. Love the hot-spicy soup. The Chicken with Dried Chili Pepper could have been more spicy. Delivery was fast, 25 min as stated. Wish the delivery minimum was lower though.

I wish I could give this order negative stars. First the order came after over 1.5 hours. Second the food was cold. Third and probably the most egregious offense was that the food wasn't good. It was bland and just not very good.
