Hunan Park

I have ordered from Hunan Park many times. The food is delicious. The wonton soup has a very rich, spicy broth. The chicken lo mein is quite good. I have ordered the chicken tempura on a few occasions and found it to be excellent. The prices are very reasonable. This brings us to the service, which is all over the map. I must say I have never experienced the lightning quick service others have noted. It has always been at the far end of the projected time estimates. However, the last time I ordered it took 90 minutes--twice as long as the estimate. When I called (at 60 minutes) she apologized and said they were busy and that the food was out for delivery. I received it 30 minutes after that. If they could solve their delivery problems they would be one of the best.

Wish I could give it no stars. The worst chow mien I have ever seen. Resembled gel more than noodles and chicken. The non-English speaking delivery guy who brought one diet coke instead of the two regular cokes that I bought and paid for was also not a great bonus, either.

Got the General Tso's Chicken lunch special. Soggy, runny General Tso's chicken. Bad egg roll. Soapy tasting vegetable fried rice. Wonton soup had one wonton in it. Fast delivery though?

Mediocre food at best and they WILL NOT send extra duck sauce, mustard or soy sauce. I put it in the comment section, then called to make sure they got the message and they still do not include them. This is my 3rd order with them through Seamless and I will not be ordering again. I would give them zero stars if that was an option.

Food was par/subpar. Have had better chinese food uptown. Ordered egg drop / wonton soup, only sent wonton soup. Forgot sodas. Called to tell them about the soup and they just said they can't do that online. Never heard of that. Probably will not order from here again.

The delivery was very fast, but this was by far the worst General Tso's chicken I've ever had. The container was half filled with sauce, and my chicken was swimming in it. I could get over that, but the flavor was nothing close to what I would have expected it. I love to eat, and am usually not a picky eater, but I can't even get past 1/3 of this dish. The 2 stars are for the delivery man.

Food was good and delivery quick. However when ordering lunch specials, egg rolls didn't come with my order. When I called, I was told that I didn't ask for egg rolls with my order. huh? Onscreen menu and printed menu both say egg roll is included. If its included why do I need to ask? Beware.

This place is one of the best Chinese places on the UWS for delivery. Large portions, great prices and their blazing fast delivery times. There is also a very soft spot in my heart for the amazing smiling delivery man who shows up at my door like a food delivery angel every time that I order. They also have wonderful sushi dishes and some other pan Asian specialties. I particularly like the "Bean Curd Schezuan Style", "Chicken Chow Fun" and the "Spicy Tuna Hand Roll".
