38th Street Diner (formerly 38th Street Coffee Shop)

I ordered a Grilled cheeze and coleslaw and pickle. Over Priced. I had to pay for coleslaw and the pickle 1.95$ (which usualy when ordering a grilled cheeze, it comes with the meal). On top of that, the pickle was 1/4 slice of a tiny pickle and the size of the coleslaw was 1 bite size. 1 girlled cheeze + coleslaw and pickle + snapple = 12$ RIP OFF .... i didnt even eat the coleslaw and pickle as they were not fresh.

Where's the meat?? The gyros from the street vendors have more meat than this. Very Disappointed to pay this for lettuce on pita!

I ordered an egg salad sandwich, french onion soup and fries. The soup tasted rancid. It was like it had been sitting there for days. It was inedible. I threw it out. The egg salad was rotten. I don't know how the person making the sandwich didn't realize that from the smell alone. I threw that out too. The fries were the only okay thing about the meal and they were mediocre at best, with lots of black flecks on them and soggy.

Is a Favorite for breakfast on Saturday mornings at work. Food is always fresh and delicious--you'd think you were sitting at the restaurant. Highly recommend. Delivery guy is always smiling and very friendly.

Not the best size portion but still it was decent.. i guess those type of omlette platters tend to go for $5 though so not the best deal. But it was fine.

Pretty solid selection. I was ordering for a crowd and wanted a cheap alternative to catering so I ordered a bunch of wraps, sandwiches and salads and arranged them myself. Able to feed >11 ppl for less than $60. Can't complain about that.

Thanks so much 38th Street Coffee Shop! I received a call from the restaurant to inform me that there was no veggie cream cheese - the man on the phone was so nice, and when I asked if there were any chopped peppers he could throw in, he suggested carrots too. THEN when I got my order there was a hand written note in the bag that said 'Have a nice day jennifer' with a smiley face. So sweet. I'm a forever customer now.
