Eh. The soup from the lunch special wasn't so good, but you get what you pay for when you eat a $5 lunch special.

Just ordered lunch delivery from this place via SeamlessWeb. It was very mediocre. Best part - Sesame chicken (good meat quality) - Fast delivery Not so good - Pork buns weren't "buns" at all. The skin was thin and everything was drenched in oil. I threw this out. Waste of $5. - Rice that came with sesame chicken was overcooked and mushy - Broccoli and parts of sesame chicken were swimming in oil. I like oil, but this was way too much. I had to pour it out to make the chicken edible. - No soy sauce packets included. Really? That overcooked rice needed it, badly. I wouldn't order from here again.

Ordered twice and the food was very good. They delivered on time. The Pork and vegetable dumplings are a must.

I just finished my delivered lunch of Steamed juicy pork buns and twice cooked pork. Hopefully, you will read this before ordering. The pork buns were OK but I've had better. The twice cooked pork was a big gloppy, greasy mess. Not that spicy and full of over cooked vegetables. i could barely find the pork and when I did i couldn't taste it for the heavy saucing of the entire thing.

Disappointing. Don't expect rice with your order. Overcooked vegetables.

Very authentic and excellent Shanghainese food. Must try the Juicy Buns, the Winter Melon soup, and the Chinese Steak.

Food was OK but cheap, however the delivery man was incredibly rude. I will never order from here again.

Not that great, but I am chinese and grew up eating in chinatown. However, being that this restaurant is in chinatown it does not come near to measuring up to its competition. Gourmet Shanghai delivers to Wall Street and they are excellent.

Lately, I can find no Chinese restaurants on the Web that deliver even minimally edible food. The state of Chinese food in the city is absolutely abysmal. This restaurant has nice customer service, they called me to offer an alternative drink when my order called for something out of stock. This is a rare experience. The sesame beef was at least palatable, and the breading at least contained actual meat. So it was ok, but not something to rave about.

Unexpectedly good. Veg dumplings were way above average; scallion pancakes not greasy; the szechuan tofu (like ma-po) is genuinely spicy. They forgot the soup that comes with the lunch special, but other than that, really good and highly recommended.
