i hate this place. i ordered for delivery, it hadn't come so i called and the woman said it was placed as a pick up order. i do not know how this happened. anyway bad service, decent food.

Food was fine, but one aspect was entirely ignored - which was (two) requests for extra ginger & wasabi. These were ignored, and Aja only delivered a tiny packet of wasabi and ginger. Really annoying, given this was delivered on a Friday night, and kinda ruined the meal. Will not be re-ordering.

The food was decent: the chicken was slightly tough, but the Indian pancake was delicious. The miso was rather watery, while the salad dressing was more appetizing. I was gratuitously given a curry broth, which I found to be a nice bonus. Overall an OK meal.

I ordered the generation sushi and seaweed salad. The food was very good but very expensive, especially considering there are so many sushi restaurant options at a better price. I probably won't order from here again.

Food arrived on time but the order was wrong. We ordered Hot and Sour soup, got Miso soup instead. Ordered veggie mini rolls got none. The shrimp was mealy. The sesame chicken was so stringy and tough you could barely chew it. The rice was cold! The Edamame was the only item that was good. Also, the menu they sent said the name of the restaurant was "Amber" not Aja. so i guess there is a new owner who'd better do better than this if he want business in the VIllage. I won't use them again.

ok sushi and rolls,independs on what you order ! crunchy spaicy tuna rolls is good and tuna tataki .edamame always comes without sea salt!

Edamame arrived with NO sea salt and my crunchy spicy tuna roll (despite being a customer favorite) was dry and gross.

Found a small bone in my spicy salmon roll. They didn't believe me and were really difficult about it. I took a photo and was going to email it to them, but they insisted on picking up the sushi and seeing the bone themselves. Are they crazy? Would never order from them again. Can understand that mistakes happen, but why act like such jerks about it? Btw, have been getting sushi in NYC for 10 years, never had this happen before (although I heard it is possible, even at a decent restaurant).

I rate this place ZERO Stars if I could. My order was late. So I called the number on the order for delivery issues, and the lady at Aja laughed at me. She said, there is nothing we can do for you. I asked, "So, it doesn't matter how late a delivery come, you don't refund it?" She said, "No." I asked to speak with her manager and I was put on hold. The connection was lost and I called back. She told me to hold again. Then she said that her manager was not in and couldn't not help me. I insisted on staying on hold until someone can help me. I waited ten minutes then they hung up on me. The food arrived thirty minutes after the 45 minute delivery time stated on the receipt. The food was also spilling out of the plastic containers, was cold and I ended up throwing most of it away.

Sweet and sour soup and one of the rolls I ordered was good. The other salmon tasted not so fresh so I threw it out

This place has the WORST sushi I have ever tasted in NYC. Both the Yellowtail and the Tuna were so disgusting that I had to SPIT THEM OUT. When I tried to contact the restaurant about the unacceptable quality of the sushi, they were BEYOND RUDE and completely disregarded the fact that they had sent us rancid fish. AWFUL SERVICE and even more AWFUL FOOD.
