Had to throw away half my order. Inedible! Salad looked like it had been sitting out for a day. Sushi was warm. Not good.

I ordered from this place one, and it was very bad and not fresh. I usually like all kinds of Asian food but was very disappointed and ended up eating less than half of what I ordered. I had a couple of rolls, sashimi, and the mussel soup. The sashimi was slimy and gross, and the mussel soup was disgusting (and I usually love mussels!) I'm writing this review mainly so that it's stored in my history, which means I would get warned in case I accidentally try to order from it again without realizing it was "that restaurant".

Ami is up there with the best of takeout sushi, no question! Their sushi pizza is incredible and I have too many favorite speciality rolls to count. Their fish is high quality and very fresh. I'd highly recommend Ami to anyone in Midtown east.

We've been ordering from them (and dining in person) for a very long time. Honestly, they have the BEST sushi rolls and other entries and appetizers for the BEST prices. ANd they are very nice people. BUT...I think only the sashimi is overpriced for the very thin slice of fish you get. Sashimi is not a very good deal considering how great everything else is.

Ordered the Sashimi B dinner. All of the fish was way to cold, had no flavor variance and actually tasted previously frozen. Delivery however was extremely quick.
