At Slice, the Perfect Food (Hudson St.)

Worst customer service I've experienced in long time. After placing an order on Seamless, I received a phone call from Slice saying that it would take longer than estimated by Seamless for delivery and if I wanted to cancel I'd have to call Seamless directly. I was OK with waiting a little bit longer and therefore didn't call to cancel, assuming my order would be processed normally. No order arrived and after an 1 hour and 45 minutes I decided to call Slice. They told me that because I didn't call them back, the order never went out. Why is it my responsibility to call them back to reconfirm my order? No cancellation was rec'd from Seamless so it should have been processed. When I spoke to the manager he indicated that he doesn't get notified about cancellations until about a week later, which is a blatant lie because when I did eventually call Seamless to cancel, they put me on hold while they contacted the restaurant directly to cancel the order. If this was the case, you could make orders on Seamless, cancel them, receive the orders, and never get charged. How logical does that sound? The manager lied right to my face and then tried to put the blame on me by saying that was a miscommunication on my end. That's what I like to call tact. No offer to resend the order or no apology was made. I will NEVER order from here again, and I do not recommend you do either.

Food is decent, but WORST service. Takes forever to deliver. Recently, they've added a service charge for anything above 14th street, yet it still shows up on my seamless web list. I placed an order and they didn't call for another 30 minutes to tell me there would be an extra delivery charge (time that I could have been waiting for another place to deliver dinner).

pizza may be good but service is the worst. first time we ordered it took 1 1/2 hours to deliver, second time 2. neither time did they call - i did. they promised a refund, but never received it. don't think i'll be recommending or returning.

If you want healthy, guilt-free pizza, Slice is the place. My favorites include the simpleton, master sausage and expert chicken, but you really can't go wrong with everything. However, the wait time is very uneven -- sometimes its quick, more often very slow. Also, beware of the salads -- more often than not, the greens are not "fresh" as they claim.

AMAZING crisp healthyish pizza. Got the lunch special with the Bruschetta - was WAY too oniony for me, especially at work ;)

Food is great, but delivery is so slow. They need to post accurate times of how long the delivery will actually take. Seamless said 30-45 minutes. After an hour and 15 minutes the the food still wasn't here.
